A day off from mylot

Well yes, I did had a day from from mylot.
I was online here yesterday but only got to respond
to 1 or 2 discussions I think. I was online my entire
shift at work but I said I wish to have a day off from mylot and so I did. I may have been online, but I didn't respond to any discussions or even read interesting topics. It was weird at first not being able to write anything since I was online here and responding to discussions almost all the time since April, that was the time I went back full time here. I know i have lost a few cents from yesterday, but I guess I needed that as well. I mean after the bad incident that happened to me last week and the guilt and the stress and relief afterwards was all too much for me. And now, I'm back to work..
For all those everyday online members in mylot, did you ever tried to take a day off? How did that make you feel? Were you energize afterwards or have you lost your interest with that one day off?

I understand. Too much of something is already not good. That goes as well with mylot. Too much of being online here is already not good for you will already forget those things or those people who wish to enjoy the day with you. I enjoy mylot more than anything else for now and taking a day off made me realize that things needs to be balanced to enjoy life and so I won't feel that I am already full with mylot. I don't wish for that to happen, so I will be taking things to minimum now.

If I am at home then I'm here, If offline takes over then I am away and don't give much thought to the discussions here but I do think of my friends. Last year I was away a lot and each time that I got back there were so many notifiers that I am still trying to catch up even now! 
I get stuck here when I am at the computer. I am trying to update my page on another site but each time I get started something distracts me and pulls me back here so I guess that it will have to wait until one day next week to get it finished

Yes I get to know many of the regular Lotters here because I read a lot and I have no problem barging in and joining their topics - or even into their responses if I have something to add

It sure will be finish by a week after next week . You are always here and I believe you know most of the members who are active here. I can feel that you really love mylot and no matter how busy you are with other things, your heart will always bring you back to mylot

Yeah at times I feel that mylot can be a little overwhelming and then I take a day or a couple off. Usually I feel refreshed afterwards to get back to discussions. I think that we work hard at mylot and it can take a lot of time when we want to be very productive. So that in itself can drain us physically and emotionally. So it's good to take a break. We have to take a break from a lot of things in our life.

Exactly, I agree that things can sometime drain us physically and emotionally including mylot so it really is and was a good idea to take a break even for just one day. Too much of something is really bad enough for ourselves. I feel refreshed now after yesterday's break

Yeah everything in moderation. I really like mylot. But to get a lot accomplished here it can be draining. So at times I can start to tell when I need a to take a break. Then afterwards I feel refreshed.

Sometime i take 1-2 days off of mylot too, it may cause my mood is not good or i have no idea with discussions that i read.
I think it is good for us going out of mylot, we can get more information and create more interesting topics for discussing when be back.

I don't really start new discussions even before. I just start when ever there is an interesting topic that comes in my mind or there is something I want to share. I am more into responding to discussions, I don't know why but I am enjoying reading and responding to other's discussions.

I'm a newbie and I already had 2 day offs. I easily get bored with things even those stuffs that I really like and passionate about. I think it's cool to me because it's easier that way because I don't want to force myself to enjoy or do things that I don't appreciate at the moment.
Although, I visited the site, I didn't post or responded to anything at all. There are no discussions that interests me anyway so I don't feel the need to participate because my comments would be of no use to the person who posted it too. There are just days and times that even the things that's loveliest in my eyes turns dull and not appealing at all.
We need to take a rest from things we do routinely anyway, and just go back with more stories to tell, good experiences and lesson learned. At least by those days we've had day off, we're able to collect topics and ideas that would or might concern others too. :D

Anyway, you are right, we need to take a rest from the things we do routinely for us to not to feel mylot is already too much for us. I believe that there are really some posts that does not interest us all, and even if there are, we still find some days that we are too lazy to respond. Those lazy days are worth the day offs. We need that to be recharged and get our minds back to work.

I actually just do mylotting at work, i do not have internet at home. i get days off here on Sundays as well..there are times when i borrow my brother's laptop that i get to mylot. But then i day off is good too..for my eyes actually.But i miss mylot and when i take a day off and come back i feel like i have missed a lot!

Just like missing it for a half a day when mylot had a runtime error. Yes, I too am missing mylot, now that I am so attached to it. I am trying to be as active here as much as possible, not because I wanted to earn more, but because I am really enjoying it. Taking a break from something helps us not to feel bored here. I mylot in the office and at home after work. I only don't come online here in the morning because that is the only time I rest my eyes from facing the computer all the time.

I had a month long vacation from mylot.
It was a forced vacation due to offline project.
I really missed mylot- but sometimes we need to have a break and give way to a more important matters.
Anyway,I hope you were able to get back the excitement once again...

Even the best websites and places, we tend to grow rather tired of them if we visit them each and every day. MyLot is really no exception to this very prominent rule to say the very least. There have been times where the discussions just did not catch my interest. That is no fault of the people who started them, really, but I was in a selective mood.
I make a habit of taking one to two days off in a week from myLot, to feel refreshed and rather recharged. Much like with everything, we need a little break from each other, not to grow tiring and rather frustrated with pretty much anything. I think that my interest has never really weakened after some time off. If nothing else, it is much stronger and I'm ready to go.

gaiza what incident happened to you? are you feeling better? i wish that you are ok now^^ well i was offline for awhile cause i didnt have money to afford internet. maybe a day off of mylot isnt that bad. sometimes we need time to go out and have fun too^^ and its true that mylot helps us get extra money but we also help the site much right?^^ i feel with energy sometimes to post and to comment,sometimes i feel like tired. like i want to do something else^^

Just had a crazy day with mylot last week but all is well now, I moved on with that, thanks to our fellow mylot member who were so very kind to make me feel better I actually did spend my day with my online game since I haven't played it for a few days already because I was so preoccupied with mylot. I had a little fun, but being here in mylot makes me enjoy my time more. I missed you here, I wish I could get to see you more often .

Well, i just had at least 5 days off from Mylot, since April 30. I have to be hospitalized , after my operation.
And now, i feel energized and excited getting here again.

I had a gynecological surgery.

I must be obsessed with this site. I went a bit crazy last week when myLot was down for half a day and I can't access the site during my regular time here. I am here every day, sometimes even several times a day. I am not always posting much when I'm here, sometimes I just read and read and read whatever posts that interest me. Perhaps one day if nothing seems to interest me here anymore, then I'll take a day off from myLot.

Reading alone can make your enjoy your stay here. There is really nothing wrong with that. But, if you respond or start discussion while your online, you can really help mylot more. Whatever your preference are, just enjoy your obsessiveness and take things to it's minimum for too much is already not good

Hi gaiza.. That happens to me too. I'm not a regular poster here in mylot. I don't post a lot. Everyday, I reply to 3-4 discussions only. I don't know. Maybe I'm just too lazy or I'm not as opinionated as the others. Haha!

You shouldn't feel lazy because there are so many discussions here in mylot that I am sure you have something to say. You will surely enjoy your stay here if you don't look at the numbers beside your name and if you don't look at the earnings you get each day. You will be surprise one day that you have already reached your payout, that's what I did and it sure does help me keep on coming back here.

Sometimes I don't have the time to come up every single day. There was one time when I was working all the shifts a day (plus I had a French lesson, too, one day) and once I went to our resort house in the other part of the country and we don't have internet there.

I was last on mylot 5 years ago. So, I took five years off. Well now, I am back and I did not realize how much of a mistake that was. A day or two, maybe even a week away from mylot is not a big stretch for me. Imagine 5 years. I know people are not always able to be on mylot everyday, and some things just require more attention, depending on the person and his or her situation. I used to be an everyday mylotter 5 years ago until my life and attitude about mylot changed. I don't see anything wrong with mylot; I just had to explore other aspects of my life and it seemed to take me away . Now, I am planning to post as often as possible.

I have been here for 3 years only but I was never really as active as I am now. I am too lazy before and only gets to post a few responses a day or every other day. I don't really come here everyday before. I was so attached to some other things when I started here and mylot was never a priority when I am online. But I admire you, 5 years and still you have remembered to come back here. Mylot may really have given you something to remember when you first came here for you to find her once again in your heart after 5 long years. Let me Welcome you back here with a big hug .

well, for the past few days, i was off here. as i was on tour and too busy to go on the many places where i was been. aside from that, i was also busy taking photos so i was not able to logged on here. as a result, my income was affected so i am doing a double time now in order for me to regain what has been lost.

I usually do mylot in the office as well, but when I get home and see the email notifications from mylot, I just can't help it but go online again here . I have work even on a sunday so it is not an excuse for me to be off here, but yesterday was just different. I think I really needed that break
