While high technology helps us in our daily life, work, studies, communication, and so on, we can deny the fact that it also affects how we communicate with our love ones. When we are at home, instead of chatting with your mother or father, you are always in your room surfing the net or playing video games. Instead of playing outside the house or do some exercises, you are in front of your computer watching Youtube videos. There are many disadvantages of the modern technology and the problem is the abused of using it.
I personally cannot imagine life without internet or mobile phone, but I see to it that I still spend some quality time with my family, friends and with myself. How about you, does modern technology helpful or not?

hi there shylade,
with reference to your main topic, for me, modern technology really helps. although we cannot deny the fact that in every invention, there are advantages and disadvantages. as a result, whenever a negative output arises, we tend to think that technology does not help instead it gives more difficulty. but if we just focus more on its advantages, it will help us to use the technology more innovative.

I see technology as being neutral. Humanity manipulates how technology acts. Take computers, for example. They can be used for research, but some military countries beg to differ.

lol. i just recently had a conversation like this. me and my husband both have our individual electronic hobbies, so to speak. yes, it does take away from time we could be personally interacting. now we have decided to blend the two worlds. we now communicated via messaging, even when we are in the same room sometimes. lol. don't worry at least we are staying.....connected....get it?..."staying connected". lol.

There are always negative and positive points in every aspect. When it comes to technology, yes it made our life easier but sometimes makes us a little bit lazy. As parents, we must set limitations of using technology like internet and mobile phones to our kids. Maybe, we can set agreements that if they will behave and good at some points they can be rewarded by adding extra time for using internet.
You are right, as of today, it is hard to live without internet or mobile phones, but it must be used properly and responsibly.
