This is a new place to me. I've never been before. My friend says it's really nice. It's cloudy with only 30% chance of rain. So do you go for walks? Did you used to go for walks? Are you planning to walk? What do you like about walks? What kinds of things do you like to see on a walk?

I do not really like to walk but recently I have been walking to save money. I do not want to see things in particular but I am somehow interested in how things look differently when you pass by on a vehicle and when you actually walk on a certain place. It is a wonderful feeling that makes me enjoy walking even when I'm already feeling tired or when the weather is hot. A few hours ago I walked 3 kilometers (just an estimation) and I was suprised that it feels like nothing. That made me remember a moment of my childhood that I walked 6 kilometers from school to home because I spent my fare on something else. What's left was enough for me to purchase cold water I need to be able to walk 6 kms.

At first, often people aren't really crazy about walking. But you see lots of things that you miss when you're driving. Also you can build up to walking farther and farther until it's nothing. That is also pretty cool. Thanks and take care.

But you see lots of things that you miss when you're driving. - Exactly my feeling. I also thought of walking more since I get to save and it also serves as exercise for my body...but not very far since I would be abusing my body by that.

I love to go for walks. I walk every day except sundays. i walk 3 miles a day. I go early in the morning around 6:30-7:00 am. I like looking at the flowers and the the nice green grass that people have in front of there home. some people even have bird baths in there front yards. Walking in the morning before it gets too hot out is what i do. I like listening to the birds sing also.Walking is good exercise .

We love going for walks! I must admit that if I were walking for exercise - I am better off walking alone (that way I can focus on what I'm doing and get my heart rate going at my pace) - but that's rare these days - so yes, I used to walk more on my own before we had a family. So now we do family walks . . . but we make MANY stops along the way because our kids want to check out the bugs, cats, flowers (and dandelions), or whatever there is to find in our path! Besides (sort of) the exercise and getting Vitamin D from the sun, we just like any excuse to be outdoors - the world is an adventure (especially when walking with kids).

Yes and to see things thru kids eyes is such a wonder. Mostly I walk for the beauty of it all, but before an operation. lung expansion.

I do walk alot. Just recently me and my boss decided to walk together or shall I say no other choice but to walk 3 kilometers to the nearby bus station. It's tiring I must say but it's a good exercise. Along our journey, we discussed many things, our experiences, love ones, jobs etc. We haven't even noticed that we have already reached our destination and consumed more than 30 minutes due to our little chitchat.

Amazing how time flies during a nice walk. We were walking for an hour yesterday and it felt like just a few minutes. Good thing you get along well with your boss. Thanks and take care.

I used to walk constantly but have really gotten out of the habit. One of my favorite times of day to walk is at the end of the day, when people have turned on their lights and I can see little glimpses inside their house. It is also really nice to see the things that people plant around their homes and their porch decorations. Sometimes I get ideas of things to make or craft. I should go take a walk now.

Sometimes walks can help our mood and give up ideas. I hope you're able to go for walks more often. Thanks and take care.

Always interesting to go walking somewhere different. We have alot of nice paths here. I don't like to go on the one up in foothills because I am fearful of ticks. I used to go for walks, even jogged. We have a greenbelt(path) by the river and it runs through the town. It is really nice.

Ticks are less of a problem if you stay out of long grass, wear layers and light clothing. Like walking on sidewalks wearing shoes, socks nad light colored pants you're not very likely to get ticks. Wide paths with hard packed ground are usually pretty good, too.
