Why does life have to be so stressful????????

Ever notice how consistently stressful life is? It would be so great to just have a day off here and there without it. My only relief is my daughter. Without her I don't think I could get through it. Share with me how you relieve your stress. I could use any ideas you have before my head explodes.

Currently I have a big headache with my relationship and i have no solution with it yet...sometime i feel that life is really really hard...and i want to give up all. But what should i do, life is still going on and i still have to go to work for earning money and alive... Well, i hope tomorrow will be better day...

No doubt our life is full of stress but don't sweat the petty stuff & don't pet the sweaty stuff...the best way to live a less stressful life.Take the time also to laugh and love,worry is like a rocking chair you go back & forth but it gets you nowhere..

actually dear we are responsible for our stress because we mever make a planning for our work.when we dont make any planning about our work then we may be under stress.so done thing with planing in life.

There are many ways to relieve stress ..As you know everyone says they relieve strees by listening to music,shopping, and singing or something like that! But I dun think it is not the best way!! I agree life is so stressful..we all have to face it..I think the best way is to meditate or yoga. It makes you calm down and better concentrated..Then it not only relieve stress but also makes strong for next things..We are not giving up..

If I am really really stressed, I walk. Exercise is a great stress reliever. My daughter is a stress reliever for me too. She is so different from me, she advises me on how I should see things differently.

Figure out what's stressing you but at the same time know that everybody is stressed anyway. So if you don't like your position right now and wish you were somebody somewhere, ask yourself what they dealing with and will you be able to deal with it yourself? The saying "if the grass is greener next door, it's because they use a lot of water" is true. You can look at their green grass and hope or wish for it, but don't forget to ask them for their water bill. Concentrate on you daughter, she loves you truly, she thinks you are the best, and her love is unconditional. Good luck.

My dear, stress is everywhere.. It's with how we handle stress, and not let it affect us.. I frequently get stressed up, I would admit that. Because I have lots of problems to deal with, and there are lots of things that limits me because of what I do not have. At the end of the day, however, i just realize that I should never hurry things up, nor let stressful moments affect me, because that won't do me any good at all, in fact it will just have bad effects on myself.. Stress will always be around, but we have to always think that they shouldn't be allowed to bother us anymore.. Just like you, your daughter is your stress reliever. That's right.. And that's good.. Well for me, I relive stress by unwinding through internet.. Playing with my daughter, and having someone to talk to..That's how I relieve stress.. But my favorite of all is go on malling..Even if I don't shop, I just go out and stroll.. Eat out.. And keep myslf busy with my family...

Hello thechans, I understand that life can sometimes be stressful but I think we all can get by if we know how to deal with it. What I usually do if I am stressed out is I take a time to relax and just be still. I try not to think of the things that can bring further stress to me. I try to look for inspiration in which I can forget stressful stuff I am flooded with. And after the relaxation and before going back to my usual routine, I try to internalize and convince myself that these stress are just challenges in order for me to become a better person, then I would deal with it with renewed enthusiasm and courage.

Life is indeed stressful!..there's a week work that I always think about over and over..and sometimes I can't get enough sleep because I always think about work..but I thank God because there is Sunday that I could take a day off..I can leave all the stressful thoughts behind and there's nothing to worry..I can relax and think of beautiful things..it's like I am having a weekly vacation even if I'm just inside the house..haha!..thank God for Sunday!

why don't you try to go to a spa, have your body massage or go to a nearby mall do shopping, or just go out hang with some friends, or if you want watch a movie. :) that what I usually do when stress hits me.

I guess that is the "disease" of our ages, all we need to do is find something that relaxes us when we are stressed, like you for an instance have your daughter that relaxes you when you are around with her. :)

Hi thechans! Like most of us, anybody is prone to stress. Personally, I know that stress can not be avoided but can be manage. There are many things that we can do, relax your neck and shoulder, take a stretch, massage or exercise. If it doesn't work, I would suggest that you count 1 to 10, fantasize, laugh, take a break and get a hug therapy. You can also develop new skills. You could develop a plan that would work for you so that you can control your responses to stressors.

The best thing to do is to figure out why you are feeling all this stress. What is the cause of it? When you figure out the causes, decide whether they are things that you actually need to be stressing about. Are you stressing about other people's problems? For example, if your friend has a problem do you worry for them also?

What exactly is stressful in your life? Is it really stress or are you making stress out of it? Are you problems a problem or are you making a problem out of it? Are you a perfectionist or able to go with the flow, accept, enjoy? Do you feel the need to please everyone or are you more willing to please yourself at the first place? Can you accept you have only 2 hands and 24 hours a day/night? I think life can be way less stress if you are able to go with the flow, if you discover/know you can be missed and most problems will solve themselves. Some time (quality time) for me is relaxing, so is burning escense when I am in a big hurry (all my kids feel the same about that if they smell it). Lock your doors and windows and enjoy being with you, even if it's only for 10 min a day.

First and foremost define stress and i don't mean looking it up in a dictionary. I mean defining it with respect to your situation. You need to identify what the stressers are so that you can tackle them! Half the battle is knowing thy enemy! And then get the pencil pad out the prioritize them! Then let us know and we can help you take them down. One step at a time so Take the lunge!
