I set people to get fired and I didnt felt bad

I remember during the early days I got in my position, I felt awful reporting the people who are liabilities to the company due to their lack of skills, cos they got fired but its part of my job, to segregate the good apples from the apples. I felt bad when people lose jobs. well there are 2 ladies and a "lady" who had been a cause of chaos in the office, they were not under performing, well as employees I can call them average... well they had been causing a lot of trouble and had been bullying people, so top end all of the drama.... I reported them.... they all got fired, these 3 are friends of my girlfriend, so she hates me right now but I made her choose, me or her friends..... Finally I wear the pants in the relationship. ever since those 3 are gone,the drama in the office is gone... no more tension and bullying. I cant believe I had waited so long before doing this.... I should have done it earlier.
