What system works for you in mylot?

I have been in mylot for more than a month now and I have already received my first payout. When I was starting out in mylot, I tried to ask other mylotters in my post how they earn in mylot and due to their tips I have developed my own system that I felt works well with me...saving me time with more efficiency in my work. But I felt that there should be a much better system than mine because I know a lot of people are earning a lot in mylot, from $30 to $100 or even more every month. For me, my system only consists of making about 5 to 10 new discussion posts every night before sleeping and upon waking up answering member's responses. Then after that when I have responded to most if not all of their answers, I look for other members posts and answer them. I also try going to my interests and try to answer discussions that I liked, so my general focus is only on posting and answering discussions. How about you, what type of system works for you and do you think there is a better system for making our mylot experience more systematic and efficient?

For me I don't work on a set number of discussions to start. If and when I start a discussion I write down what the discussion is about in a note book in case I forget and some times I come with some thing I'll just write it down for later. I always go back to all of my discussions some go on for weeks talking with people. I try to talk as much as possible on other peoples discussions as well and some times that goes on for a while as well. Since I'm a mom and talk about mom things and parenting things I've always got something to say about something.

I see, so you focus more on discussions you are very well versed at, like parenting and family, etc. I think it's a good idea to have a notebook handy for any ideas that comes out of your mind about the discussions...I would like to apply that for myself so that wherever I go, I would be prepared with the discussions when I go back to my computer. Anyway, I think answering in other people's discussion topics is what I think I'm lacking to do, so I would try looking more at other members topic from now on. Thanks for the feedback, ShyBear88.

Oh yes you can't just focused on yourself. Looking and trying to participate in other peoples discussions is important. You can build bounds so that way even if you join one of there discussions and get something going really good later one in other discussions you can talk about other things other then that discussion building up a friendship. I have several of those in here.

I have not yet made a payout i have been on for a little less then a whole month. My system is simple i log on when i have time ussally every night and ussally in the morning or afternoon. I comment on disscussions that intrest me and hope i get replies to comment on. I will make my own discussions whenever i think of something i want to say. somedays i only make one new discussion sometimes i make 3 or 4. It depends whats on my mind at the time. I love mylot though for me its not all just about makeing money i really enjoy the site, the money is deffiently a great bouns to keep people motivated.

I think more mylot members are not really in for the money here but mostly for fun. Although I'm really amazed at mylot members who got a lot of referrals, and I guess they earn quite a decent extra cash ( I saw the top referrer had more than 8,000 referrals...wow! I wonder how many are active... ). It's interesting that there are a lot of topics to choose from that no matter what age or status you are in life, you will always find some topic that fits you. And I find a lot of mylotters as very engaging in giving of their opinions...I learn a lot from others here :)

Wow that is amazing. I am not good at getting referals. I have one from a friend and he never gets on so i have only made a penny from him lol. I love haveing all the tpoics to talk about, it bugs me when i comment and people dont write back though. I like to have discussions not one way comments.

I find posting discussions and responding to discussions to be quite a reliable system. This makes mylotting completely voluntary. I do not believe in soliciting invitations to mylot. Word of mouth is a good way to encourage someone to mylot. I believe that the financial benefit of posting and responding is relative to the mylotter's expectations. If one would like his or her time to be money, then earning pennies for thoughts is a good way. Sincere discussions and responses add to the integrity of mylot, and at the end of the day, I think it is all done in good fun.

I agree, I often feel good vibes here between mylot members and I really believe having fun here is priority. I have never found any other forum sites that has this kind of atmosphere so I guess that is why mylot is so popular. Anyway, which do you do more...posting or responding? Yes, in my discussions I really answer as sincerely as possible and share only real experiences and beliefs. That way I also have a lot of fun.

Well, I log on in the morning and I look through all my interests and my friend's discussions and occasionally the today's top and recent to find discussions I think I may be able to contribute to. I post until I run out of time or I run out of discussions that I feel I can respond to. I come back later in the day and respond to any responses that I've gotten, and find more discussions I can add something to. I post a discussion when I have an idea for one, but I prefer replying to other people's discussions. I really don't make nearly as much money as you're aiming to make, maybe I make payout every two months or so. As your ratings increase and you get a better reputation at mylot, your earnings do increase a bit and I've found that later payouts get easier to reach.

Thanks for sharing your system, allyoftherain. I'm not sure now which is better, posting new topic discussions or replying to other members discussions? Anyway, from now on I'll give more time to replying to other members discussion and see if there would be an increase in my earnings. Now I know that when your ratings increase your earnings would also increase a bit.

I don't think either one is better per say, but I know everytime you type, you earn. It doesn't really matter whether you're posting on a discussion or replying to others. I like replying to others because I earn for that too, even if it doesn't go in my almighty post count.

Good for you... Obviously your system works better since with mine it took me longer than a month to reach payout. Actually, I don't really have a systematic way of myLotting; I just log in where ever or when ever I have a chance. And my tendency of reading too much here instead of typing won't help those who are here to increase their earnings...

Yes, I too often got engaged in just reading other mylotters discussions and find them interesting. For example, when I look for a particular online business I can search that business name in the mylot discussion search box and see a lot of members discuss about that particular online business with their first hand experience with them...it's so great you have access with such information that mylotters are so willing to share. Have a nice day, sishy!

I think you have the right system and the right site. MyLot is good in that they pay accordingly, five cents, two cents, thirty cents and so on. You also have a good plan how many to answer and comment on and to keep the count the same. I don't take days off and write wherever the site pays.

I think that I just really go out and post in the discussions and then I reach payout or just payout plus a little extra. There is really no rhyme or reason for what I do the things that I do. I really just tend to just keep posting in the topics that interest me and rather just really add a topic here or there as an idea comes to mind. In the end, everything works, as I learned a long time ago as the best way to make money is to stop thinking about making money. Just keep on going through your work, posting a lot of things, working a lot of things, and pretty much everything. Then everything really works out itself as it is. There is really just nothing more simple than that. A simple but effective system if I do in fact say myself.
