Using Mylot to start my Etsy Site

So I recently decided to start an etsy site because of my homemade hair bows..that are super awesome by the way...But it cost 20 cents for each item that you decide to sell, and I don't have any money in my paypal account at the moment so I decided that as soon as I make my first 10 dollars on mylot I will be using that to post my items on my Etsy site. I was very proud of the decision that I made and I just wanted to let others know. Even though I am on mylot mainly for the interaction with other people I love the idea of using the money to start my own little business.

Thats awsome i am happy you can do that.
Have you ever thought of making an ebay? they are free for so many items you put up then they will charge a little depending how much you sell or make.
But, if you like etsy go for it i dont know much of anything about that site.

Forget my first comment, i checked out etsy and i really like it for homemade things i think i might even consider useing it for the jewlery i once tryed to sell. Maybe a few other things too!!

Great Idea and dream to start your business, it is always good to take small step to your success, as long as you don give up, success will be yours eventually. A tip- go and do some research on the market needs on certain product before you sell it, remember that when there is demand then then is supply

I think that's a great idea. I did the same thing. I use the money i make online each month to pay for my server for my website. I use the money i make online to help pay for my Herbalife products when I need to. My online income allows me to never have to come out of pocket to pay for anything I do. So eveerything I make becomes pure profit.

Nice Idea.. but what is an Etsy site?.. I have never come across this term..
but sad to know that you joined this site only to get the first 10 dollars.. hope you will continue using mylot after that as well..

It's is a site that you can sale homemade crafts, and things of that sort. Just go to etsy.com and give it a look. And I don't plan on giving up on mylot I enjoy it too much, the first 10 bucks is just to get my etsy site launched

What a great idea! Use the money you make here to help launch your Etsy site. I have a few friends who are on Etsy and they like it. I think it's an adorable "artsy" site. Like the other person suggested, it would probably also be a good idea to think about Ebay, especially if you can list free. I wish you the best of luck and just remember to read all of the terms and conditions (do your due diligence) and also you may want to think about how you are going to drive traffic to your site (in the meantime).
