Posting Personal Info on Facebook

This is not a bash on Facebook. As a matter of fact, I love using facebook and may be a little bit addicted. But what is wrong with people that post such personal information. They must know that everyone on their friends list can see it. Wives and husbands that write bad things about each other, when the others family members can see it. Or friends that make a generic comment, for example "I hate when friends stab each other in the back". Now every friend that you have is wondering if you are talking about them. Then there are the ones that just complain about everything and crave the attention. Facebook can be used in so many positive ways, but people continue to use it for their own personal soap opera. But the very worst type of people on Facebook are the ones that feel the need to update us on every little move they make. When they eat, go to bed, use the restroom, leave the house.....really....who really cares. If something exciting happens please let me know, but it is not important to me to know that you just got home from the grocery store. What do you find frustrating on Facebook?

There is nothing frustrating in facebook for me. but as you said, there are people who frustrate me by posting personal information in facebook. I consider them as mad and i don't want think about them. many of my friends behaves like that i tried to stop them but they never listen my words.

Wow, I have heard the "just back from the grocery store" but never a "bathroom" one..I guess it depends on who your friends are...

Haysss... there are really people who does that... posting nonsense activities as if like telling the whole world their every step...which can really be irritating.
Well, I hope people know what facebook is all about and not just post anything which doesn't concern anyone!

This are private things and should not be brought out or let say should not be written in a social media platform like facebook.
Because you are just exposing your private life to the whole world if you will post this things. In the end people will just laugh and talk about your private life.

Maybe it is what I would find frustrating about Facebook, since I am not a member yet. As I think about joining facebook, I am ever confronted with the thought that I really have no desire to put my life on display for the world to see. There are more than a few people that will see my name and know me, yet I have no desire to reconnect my life with theirs. But, one of these days, I still might sign up.

I don't like posting anything on facebook that is is personal. There is just too many people out there to see it. I do message people and tell them things or ask a question.

what i find to be most frustrating on fb is when people post up a picture of their dinner. it may look good in front of the person who is posting it, but it looks yucky to the viewer.

I think posting such things on Facebook is a Habit and addiction they were too addicted on posting non-sense things on Facebook but in return they were just making themselves look ridiculous. I believe posting Private things on Facebook is very risky so I won't be posting anything on Facebook that is really frustrating when somebody else invade my privacy

I also hate it when my friends do that. For me, i would only post somethings that cool, happy, or just something crazy i just thought about. Facebook in my opinions is not a place where we express out feelings and stuff, we have mothers, fathers, and friends for that. Not everyone should know about it.

amy people are adding there friends even if they dont know each other. Why are they doing that? Posting personal information on facebook is good but what if someone likes you but you dont like him. The tendency is he?she will stalk you

I agree with Lamb, and simply because some people live for drama. Seems that some are not happy if they don't have drama in their life, so by posting everything on facebook, they get the attention they seek. There are a few (like 2) on my facebook, I either ignore it, or 'hide' their updates. I never comment on them, that's what they want....attention, sympathy, etc. Not getting it from me!

That too- facebook is god since it updates us about whatever our friends are ding, it's the people that use it, they don't know how to use it properly. Sometimes they post too much information-like it's their diary, even though they know it's public.

facebook for me is a means of communication. most of my friends and family members use facebook to update each other with what's new on our lives. i, myself has used facebook to express my feelings but never mentioned a name on it. but after being a victim of rude comments, i realize that it is not proper to say mean things where everyone can read it. from then on, i never wrote anything like that anymore. and i stopped posting nonsense comments. but sometimes i post photos of anything fun that i encounter everyday.

While I find your point to be justifiably frustrating, what I find rather irritating than frustrating are those people who puts up a fight using their facebook status. There are some who would even drop names of their frenemy which I find really disgusting. Why let other people know how war freak of a person you are? It's a big turn off for me.
