Yay, I am so happy she made it in the top 2, but also scared since Phillip is quite good looking so teenagers might vote him over Jess. Anyway, they both deserve to win, i can't wait for their performance next week.

I would also have preferred a Joshua vs Jessica finale. I am hoping that Jessica will win but I feel that it is going to be Phillip. I think that it was a done deal for a while. The young girls and maybe even boys are Phillip's fan base and they vote heavy. It is being based on looks and cuteness rather than talent. This is not to say that Phillip has no talent but I think that Joshua and Jessica are better. Phillip is winning on his looks.

I am 67 and a big American Idol fan. Glad there are other seniors who are also fans. It seems that idol attracts a diverse group of persons just like mylot. I love mylot because there are so many diverse persons the site.

I love these two!!! I hope Jessica gives her very best (she was kinda not her best the last time) because this is it. But, you're right, Phillip has a solid base fan. Coated in teflon, I guess that's what they called him. But, I sure hope Jessica gets this. It's about time a female idol emerges again (been a long time).

I think its 5 years to be exact It is long overdue for sure. if she won she will be the very first female winner since Jordin Sparks, she will be the youngest winner, first Asian Winner,First hispanic winner,First Biracial winner, First winner in 5 years who is not from a Southern state, first female winner who didnt rely on sob stories and first winner who is still there because of the save. How many birds that will hit in one stone.

She did have one sob story, her dad was headed back to Iraq. I'm glad though if she wins it will be someone "different" than those other things you mentioned, Capt. But I'm getting the feeling it will be Phillip winning, due to the teeny bopper 'hold' this show has on the voting.

I'm dancing out of happiness right now . I know it wasn't her best performance last night but she still made it. Now let's just continue praying she still will win this competition. I wish America doesn't need another male Idol who sings like Scotty. No offense to Phillip's fans, he's good and I like him as well, but Jessica can really sing and I am her super fan . Win or lose, I will still be her avid fan

I heard she have support from the Filipino community,Asian community, state of california, mexican community, some of the male audience and people who just like her abilities, The competition is stiff. The true winner though is who is gonna sell albums. "the cute guy" girls root for rarely sell records post show.

southern states(the one with cowboys) always win Idol based on history. she is the Californian who lasted the most. Her race I think is not the the hindrance....whats between her legs, since feminist dont seem to watch Idol....Only girls who drools for the cute guys. But Fil-am community are aggresive voters because they know how aggressive the girl army is.

I would have preferred a Joshua vs Jessica contest. No one can beat the Joshua rendition of It's a Man's World but his fan base was simply not as much as those of Philip Philips. I am glad for Jessica though and I hope she wins. I remember Steven Tyler's comment on Jessica being the last man standing in the end. This was one of the toughest top 3 competition that we ever witnessed on Idol. I sure did not want anyone of them to go since they are all spectacular. I am not going to miss their performance next week, something to look forward to.

I was a little bit surprised because Joshua has always seemed larger than life. I'm happy, though. I voted for Jessica because I wanted to watch her again next week.
I am confident that all 3 of these kids will have great careers as musicians. I can imagine Joshua performing in Las Vegas.
