we're about ready for prom tomorrow night. we got her dress back in march, so the only things we had to worry about is shoes and hair. we found her shoes today. they are so adorable. now to figure out what to do with her hair. it takes me a good hour to curl it all so i've got to figure out how i want to do it. i wish i had to confidence to do a mix of a braid and curls, like the way girls used to wear their hair back in the olden days. since her dress makes her feel like cinderella, i want to try to fix her hair to complete the feeling. the length of her hair goes down to the middle of her back, so i've got a lot to play with. by the time i get off work, i don't have time to take her to a beautician. we only have 3 hours before her friend shows up. anyone have any ideas??????

If you can braid her hair and you have a lot of bobby pins, you will be able to braid the majority of her hair and pin it up around her head. Then, leave some generous ends and curl those and make sure to have a lot of hair spray to hold the curls in. This will give the effect of a really nice up-do without having to spend the money to go to the beautician or to take a whole lot of time to get her hair done for her special night.

Have her sit in curlers all night and day of different sizes and then you can straighten some and frizz out others to add volume. Plus, you won't have to sit there with the curler for 3 hours trying to make it stay....and lots of hair spray :)
