I wanna learn bout butterfly stroke... The one i've done are kick off and gliding with dolphin kick, then push my upper body up with the strenght of my shoulder and take a breath at the moment, then when my hand and body reach back to water then use my dolphin kick twice and repeat the same thing... But don't know why i feel it not really effective and it take a lot of stamina to do that.... Lol...so maybe there are some tips to do it better and efficiently...

It sound like you know the moves well. It is hard to learn from the internet but you can find a good movie at Youtube by searching: "Everybodyswim : Butterfly stroke" I can only tell you that the most important thing in that stroke is the Pelvic rhythm You need to do PTT and APT (Posterior and Anterior Pelvic Tilt). And the stamina will get better from time to time, you just need to exercise more and more and you will improve your movement speed strength and stamina Good luck

yes i know it because i've learned it from you tube "zogg butterfly technique" and i think i've seen everybodyswim too... yeah maybe the rhythm, it's like the first time i learned freestyle technique, it's a bit hard to breath so it screw the rhythm... it's a bit hard to get a good streamline when i get into water and do butterfly kick... thanx for the advise :-)

If the breathing problem is because you are getting tired and at the begi?nig of the swim it is ok so it is mean you have low fit in swimming butterfly and from time to time it will be better. but if the breathing problem is because of you cant lift your head so you need to kick with your legs harder cause they are part of the kinematic chain..
