Lady
I face this everyday, moreover it is so hot, so i have installed an inverter based pure sinewave power supply, that gives 220 volts ac at 50 hertz frequency, i am able to run, computer, tv, cfl lamps for 4 hours in my home.
You may buy one.

I used to have that happen when I had dial up and I would get thrown off the internet. I would be right in the middle of Mylotting, doing research, and looking at different sites. Had about twenty tabs up and I get thrown off. Yes, talk about timing. I hate that so much!

Yeah, those were one of the things, i hate about dial up.. Which is why i was so lad when we had dsl. When i open dozens of tabs, i go to all f them quickly since the browser might malfunction or the computer might die. Opera has been closing all of a sudden recently.

Hi there. So we're both from same country. It really sucks. Here in Mindanao there is that thing they called "Rotating Brownout". I really hate it. Everyday there is a brownout more than an hour. It really sucks. I hope it they'll stop it soon. But I've heard in the news that Rotating Brownout will last until 2014. So bad.

that really sucks. did you get to save your work? once i was writing a paper for school and we had a black out. i didn't get a chance to save my work. luckily, when the computer came back on, i was able to continue where i left off (by some chance).i wonder where you live that you keep having black outs.

I am happy that when it happened to me, there was still a battery on my laptop to back it up.

Oh yes, of course the router would not function also when it's blackout.
I think i haven't experienced doing the internet and it was suddenly blackout. It was always work on laptop when blackout happens, and then an automatic generator will be on when at the office.

That's nice. I use my laptop too but the problem is I am not using a Broadband. I use wifi from a router in our home and router needs the presence of the current. It's still useless. Sometimes, I'll just try to make some photo editing just to energize myself.
