Favourite Natural Exfoliant

For me, it's newly discovered and so far of all of the things I've tried in the line of exfoliants/facial washes, it's my favourite. Baking Soda. It's cheap, natural, not harsh on the skin. What more could a girl want? Oh yes, something that doesn't irritate my mild acne - got it! I read up online about it and started using it. So far it's only had 3 runs and my skin looks and feels healthier and smoother already. It's managing to even out my skin, I haven't had any new spots since I've started using it either. All you need is about a teaspoon of the baking soda, add some water and gently (very gently or it does sting, it's very efficient so no scrubbing!) rub it all over your face in small, light, circular motions. Rinse, don't forget to moisturise and you're done! :) Anyone else used this before? What's your favourite natural exfoliant?

Did you give it a go yet Grace? I've been using it twice a week now like clockwork and it's starting to make a real difference. I am very pleased with the results that I am getting. My skin is much smoother and there has been a reduction in the acne scarring, I have less spots (hardly any!) and the appearance of blackheads has been reduced!

ooh thank you for sharing this. I never knew this. I know my son and daughter could use this. I was considering taking them to a dermatologist or going to a Medical Spa and getting treatments but one treatment was like $329.00 and I wasn't sure if I really wanted to spend that much. I will definitely tell them about this! I know honey is a great natural exfoliant. My kids used to do honey facials with my wife and it helped their acne and their skin but you have to do it consistently to see results and they would do it maybe one whole week every month.

Baking Soda? Wow, I should try this out sometimes. I think we still have a baking soda left at home. By the way, how many times should you do this a day friend? is there any number of times to do it a day? Thank you so much for the tips and for sharing :)
