I traveled to beautiful New Zealand in 2001 and 2002. On Christmas Day I was up in the Bay of Islands. I went out on a dolphin watching trip. People were able to swim in the sea with the wild dolphins. On the South Island I went out on boat trip to watch hector dolphins. I found that very interesting and special. Also on that South Island I saw penguins. There were yellow eyed penguins that I saw from a hide on a cliff. Wow! It was lovely to see the fairy penguins too. I was sand boarding on the North Island and saw a fairy penguin. That was a priceless experience. It sounds like you on that trip are guaranteed to see dolphins.
