Yankees now at the bottom of the AL East

with their 6th loss in the last 7 games, the Yankees fall to 21-21, and are now tied with the Red Sox for the bottom spot in the highly competitive AL East. The Orioles are leading the toughest division in baseball, Yanks and Sox are at the bottom, who would've thought of it?

I certainly remember those giddy days at the beginning of the season, yet look where things stand now with the Yankees leading in the ALDS.

I love it! I hate, Hate the Yankees but they Are the Yankees . They won't remain in the basement all season. It would be far more sweet if my Red Sox were better. But I see the Sox staying in the basement and the Yankees getting better. Let's face it , we are in late May, we have Plenty of time for both to get better.

This is surprising, yes. But there is no way, in my mind, that the AL East standings are like this for the rest of the year. The Yankees and Red Sox are too deep and talented to have results like this the whole year. The Blue Jays and Orioles do not have the pitching necessary to win this division. The Yankees will win this division followed by the Rays, the Red Sox, the Orioles, and then the Blue Jays.
