Lean Cuisine losing Out with Me

For a long time I have eaten Lean Cuisine on a relatively regular basis as a convenient way to take a break from cooking. For a while I would cook something for a week and then have Lean Cuisine frozen dinners for a week. But this is getting almost impossible to do. Between them changing the few that I liked or stores in my area no longer carrying them, I am basically down to one that I like. There were a couple of more that were marginal on my like list that I would get occasionally just to have more variety and now they are even changing those so that I can not stomach them. I have tried a few of their new ones in their Chef Picks line and in my opinion they need to fire those Chefs since all these are terrible. Like most frozen dinners Lean Cuisine has a problem with having a high salt content and these new ones are just as bad or worse than the ones that I liked that they have ruined with their changes.

In their attempt to offer new choices, they've just gotten less appealing to me.

I don't like lean cuisine, the few tasty meals they have give you itty bitty portions and leave you still hungry afterwards. I think that when you add up the cost of constantly buying lean cuisines it just isnt worth it, especially if you where to eat them twice a day. You should try cooking or grilling big portions and save them for future meals, that way you wont have cut as often.

I steer clear away from any of these processed ready meals. I find it far cheaper and healthier to make my own meals - they taste much better too. I have one day where I make several dishes in fairly large amounts and then portion them out into individual portions and freeze them. That way I know that I have a good supply of healthy and tasty meals in my freezer when I need something quickly.
