Batik is a priceless heritage of the culture of Indonesia. Almost all regions of Indonesia have it's own style of batik distinct to their area. Batik was known since and from the ancient kingdom of Majapahit which then spreads to other kingdoms in Indonesia. At first, batik was in the form written words on fabric and the fabric being used must first be weaved and dyed using natural dyes found on local regions. The creation process takes considerable amount of time, depending on the weather and the artist;s professionalism. At that time, batik was only worn by the keraton (Indonesian form of nobles), but as time passes the use of batik spreads to other castes and evolved other methods of manufacturing techniques such as print, stamp, and batik printing. With various types of batik owned by this country, community abuzz to preserve this heritage in various ways, such as by applying the use of this art on office and school uniforms, accessories, bags, and various other kinds of batik creations. Such method is a very powerful way to preserve and care for Indonesia's culture, because over time, competition between countries becomes more intense and often time intercultural theft cannot be avoided. It would be very regrettable should the rights to the batik heritage be claimed and owned by another country.

there is batik in almoust all southeast Asian countries, even i've seen a patterned batik and the cultures of ancient egyptian pyramid used by the flight attendants company airflight this country, but for me owned by the indonesian batik, batik is very famouse in indonesia, many areas in indonesia have batik it self, even throughout the provice there is also a batik syle pinto Aceh in aceh, northern sumatra is also posible in traditional clotes i have seen a tribe there is also paterned batik. batik can be difficult to be sparated by our culture, especially javanese culture is highly deploved in batik.if batik our true cultural heritage we would to preserve batik least not hesitate to use it a least once a month to attend the national ceremonies, because batik is part of indonesian natioanl culture.
