hi there. well yeah, every student should learn how to utilize their spare time. use it perhaps to study their lessons in advance or recapping the previous lessons covered. for some students they are able to work during their spare time just to earn some extra cash to aid for their study, or for them to buy what they want without asking money from their parents. many things could be done by a decent student during their spare time, but mostly use theirs (as what people have mentioned) in nonsensical stuff. hope students may find something worth doing during their spare time.

for my suggestions, studying during your spare time is very vital. and if you get another spare time after browsing some notes, you better get yourself something worth doing like what i have mentioned on my post -- finding a job that's flexible in your schedule. there's much to get some extra cash like working online. if you can write poems, ii am sure you could write good articles on some topics that suit your interests.

During the time that I was a student, any free time that I had away from studying was simply spent working. I knew that I didn't want to be in too much debt by the time that I finished my degree, and this meant that I had to work at least a couple of hours each day even when I had a lot of work to do for my course at that time. I am very glad that I did so now though, because I am in nowhere near the amount of debt that a lot of the people on my course were on because of the fact that they had to take out a lot of loans just to be able to pay for their course.

The problem is that some students take their spare time as an opportunity to do explore and do all sort of crazy things. They are many ways students can spend their spare time like helping in housechores, visiting a friend in need and many more.

You're right! Choosing one options from many is an art, enabling us to enjoy and learn simultaneously!

I would like to suggest a few ideas like writing a book or poem ,drawing cartoons, taking up classes in any hobbies you like would be much fun and engaging. You can also visit your grandparents and spend some time. You actually get lots of knowledge and affection from them. You also learn to be more responsible by taking care of them as well as yours.Happy Holidays to all.

Some students utilize their spare time on student parties and organizational activities. I believe that students use their free time for socializing instead of studying. I can say this because I have witnessed this on my friends and even myself. Even though I have a three day vacation, I still end up not studying. If there is a test before a long vacation, I only study the day before the examinations. Some students are really like that. They like to cram and procrastinate. Only a few students really utilize their time for academic purposes. Well, take me as an example, I have free time right now and I choose to respond in your question and chat in mylot instead of doing my school work :) So in the end, it really depends on the person. But the typical student usually procrastinates and uses his free or spare time for social purposes rather than academic. I hope I answered your question. Happy Mylotting.
