I logged into my bank account and my account is already open and ready. I put in $100.00 for this month into savings (May), then $380.00 to go towards the government (since they like my money so much). Come June, I will throw in another $100.00 of my pay, and my $720.00 cheque from my one job (for the government). After that I will owe about $900 to the government, and Ill be broke :(. I have enough to pay my bills and have $275 left over but I will have to buy cat food by then and other items, and gas depending on my hours of work, and petsitting.

I am impressed by you budget. You are showing great responsibility and maturity for such a young person. Your government will be pleased.

Ahh, too much money go towards the government...but at least you still have enough money to pay for your living. Try to save more as you can...this month, i can't save any money because i had to spend money for something that is not in my plan at all.

Sounds like you're doing pretty good with it. At least you have it planned out and know what you are going to do and how to make it work. You might have a tough time for a little while, but once it's over, it will seem worth it. Your $275 ought to last out if you're careful.

You are doing amazingly! So they don't take taxes out if your pay for you? It seems that you pay a lot to the government. It's good though that you are able to live below your means so you can save.

Congratulations on opening a bank account. While it is sad that you'll owe big money to the government, at least you have some to pay for those which needs to be paid. Not everyone can afford to do that. Other people have less than what you have. And it seems to me that you are doing great with your budgeting, so keep it up.

As they say, money talks!! It seems like when it's about money going in to an institution, they hussle to get money in asap . . . but with money going out they tend to take their own sweet time. Yep, life seems to be a never ending cycle of those wonderful bills . . . but it's good you seem to be on top of it!

Opening a bank account shouldn't take long, most especially if it's a savings account. After all, it is you who is putting in the money.

I know what it's like to owe the government, be proud that you are getting it all paid off, I have it figured that I will be 102 years old before I pay off my two federal student loans, if I keep paying at the rate which I am paying (the only rate I can afford.) And they keep adding fees and interest!!! I swear government sets it up so that a person, once in debt will forever be in debt, like it does them any good. On the bright side, once it's paid off it's done and then you can use that money for the things you need right?
