Do you make money out of blogs, too?

I'm not getting any earnings from blogging other than mylot. I wanted to try but I don't know if it is reasonable or not. Besides; I don't know what the heck is RSS feed for bloggers as I'm not an account holder of blogs.
Can you tell me how do you earn from blogs?
Let me know your best practices. I'm about to open one for myself as well. Thanks and happy mylotting, bloggers :)

Hi resy! I recently joined Experts column. It's a good site to write. Although I can not submit articles as of now because I am very busy with my training. But I know that this site is a good site because I noticed that there were members who been writing in the site for several years.

You can submit articles with the site then, every time your article was read, you will earn a little amount. So you have to post the link of the article say in fb or in twitter to get more readers.

Same thing here. I am also getting troubles what to start with when earning using blogs. That's why I started this discussion.
Blogging may fit me due to my story-telling approach din giving out views and I'm gaining followers lately so it may help the first time.
