Im just curious how you fellow Mylotters choose your best response? What are your criteria? Do you give it to those with same views as yours or to those from your buddy list? Me I only have one rule, once you state a strong Point of view and able to convince me then you are in no matter if we share the same insight or no as long as you were able to defend your point.

Hi ally, Yes, that is the criteria of selecting a best response. I have observed that many people pick up a BR in favor of those who are their friends. Actually that should not be the law. One who response to the point to the subject he/she should be conferred the BR.

Hello Krajibg! We have no control on other mylotters but you are right picking for a best response should not be biased but with open minds for other possibilities.

I usually choose a best response once I'm pretty sure that the discussion is over. Now as for what I choose it depends on the type of discussion it was, if it's an advice discussion, I typically try to choose the best advice, especially if I've tried several different ones, like when I was trying to fix my friend's washing machine. Other times its the person whose response got the most people talking. To me a response that can do that is an important part of mylott, and other times I'll have a response strike a cord within me either in a good way or a bad one. Even if someone posts something that I disagree with, but they made me feel impassioned and have that thought of "I have got to respond" they'll get it.

Yeah picking for a best response should not only be based on what we believe. There are things that we think we already knew it well but as we heard other people's say it gave us a time to think and say "hey why I never thought of it that way?"

It depends upon the situation. Both will happen.SOMETIMES WILL GIVE FOR the same views of mine some times the reality..yea.as you told the person responding have to state his points and have to convince their points.Otherwise no point for telling anything..And also funny answers also considered. It all depends upon the situation.

I choose mine by how interesting or unique a response is. Defending a point is important. Doing it affectively is too. Good language and English usage is important too. And finding the point of a subject is crucial. And if you bring a new flair to the discussion that is BR material too.

i choose a response as best when that has got a full solution or a good reasonable view to my discussion..
