Many of my mylot buddies have quit mylot.

For some reason many of my friends have quit mylot. I at times scan through all my friends' profiles to see who all are active. Besides, i'd send a message to few who quit mylot couple years ago. But when i do not get any reply, I assume they have all grown up now or have become very busy and successful in their endeavor. For what ever reason they do not want to come back, i miss them. Do you miss you mylot friends who'd deserted you and the site? What could be the possible reason people stray away from mylot?

My is very nice forum and discussion site but I think it cannot beat other social networking sites (non-earning) in terms of entertainment and popularity. One of our Mylotter asked, how many people would left facebook? I think very less compare to Mylot because they have all their Friends on same site and they have other features like group chat, chat room, events, status etc which we do not have here, but we are getting paid for activities here and I think that is what makes us active here. We can start discussion on other sites also then why Mylotters do that? Because they do not get paid for it. Possible reason for not being active on Mylot (new members and other social networking site users? 1- lack of entertainment elements. 2- rules and regulations of mylot. 3- long process for responding and commenting. 4- less friends. 5- fear of Paypal, money, and bank involvement etc.

Sure, I agree with your reasonings. I referred a friend of mine recently and told him briefly about mylot and how we can earn while we can have fun. He was not impressed with the kinda earnings and stuff and was looking for better paying sites. So the no 6 reason of your should tops the list, per me.

the second list for old and reputed mylotters but i think we can consider it in both new and old members because if any one is getting more in offline earning then why they would be interested in pennies. friend you are talking about, is he your referral? I guess, yes because that is why you are trying to make him/her interested in Mylot. it is hard to motivate our referrals because in beginning they do not like it because of the unawareness about things like starting discussion and other things, they need to understand everything which we start in beginning we do not become expert and we have to be involve in the activities and because of that we learn. Mylot earning is depend on us that is why you should tell your friend to use it for a week and try to post quality content and if you do not like it then you can move to other site. but I guess, there is no such sites which are better than Mylot.

possible reason for not being active on Mylot (old and reputed users) 1- busy schedule and not not getting time for Mylotting. 2 - no interesting discussions in their interests. 3 - constant banning. 4 - no referrals. 5 - found better site than Mylot. 6 - no more interested in pennies because getting much more offline. etc

I do miss friends I've made here on this site, who are no longer here. I can see why they would leave -- busy in life, jobs, family, etc. There are a plethora of reasons not to waste one's life on here all the time. I understand that. However, when I do come here, I hope to make new friends. Perhaps you and I can be friends.

As Page said there's a huge number of reasons to quit a forum or any internet activity. I quit many forums or message boards in my life just becaus "the air I was breathing" was not good anymore: friends who were not there anymore or who were replaced by people i didn't like. How many people everyday quit Facebook or Twitter? In this case maybe your friends had less time to dedicate to this forum day by day, so earnings and fun were not enough to continue. Do as me: if I like a person I try to build a friendship that can go over a forum, if he's not too far from me or I create many internet contacts if he's in another country. :)

Well, I also quit mylot for several months because I am busy with other things but I still come back. I don't think these people totally quit mylot. This site is very enjoyable. It is a stress reliever to me. It will help you to overcome your boredom. There maybe times that you will not log in here but you and other people like me, will always come back even if we will be absent here for months or years.

I only have few friends in mylot but almost all of them are not anymore active. However, there are some who just come and go. One of them was not in mylot for several months and when he came back he told me that he was just too busy to do mylot. Maybe that is also one of the reasons. Some of them might not quit but may have just rested from doing mylot.

Over the years i was and still am in mylot... i can say that i have not made any good friends. i have only participated with some and i would actually know that they are familiar and have acquainted with them but never really exchange messages with any of them. i guess this way i am not fully aware of the people who come and go and leave the site...

I have been here for 4 years and many of the friends that I had in the beginning aren't here anymore. I am sometimes think about the people who left, I don't know why they decided to leave, maybe they are simply too busy with their offline lives or maybe they lost interest in the site. I don't delete friends who aren't active anymore, because some of them come back one day. I have experienced that several times. A friend who had been gone a couple of years suddenly came back. It is a great feeling to see them again. Of course some of them never come back...or they come back with a new profile.

Or could it be us who never thought of when our friends leave and come back because we are too busy with ourselves?

Well, same here... But if I see me, there're times I can be active, because there are so many good and interesting topics I can respnd to, but sometimes I get inactive because I can't find any post to respond to! I haven't leave a comment for about a month. I know I'm losing money, but there's simply no discussions I'm interested in. Maybe your friends will come back, if they find topics they can discuss! Have a nice day!

good day rekhum, with regard to your post, well, even your old buddies left this site, for sure, you will gonna gain again another one. you just need to send them a friend's request. and, same as you are, i do also missed the buddy that introduced mylot to me. as she was so busy with her other tasks via online. as a result, she cannot cope up anymore to logged on here. but, she does not really leave the site, she sometimes visit and do some participation.

I have mylot friends who quits, I have mylot friends who are banned, I have mylot friends who removed me on their friend list, I have mylot friends whom I removed in my friend list and I have seen mylot friends who transferred to the so called other site. Then I have a feeling I have mylot friends who deleted their accounts and hides in new identities. People just come and go. I am sure some of them are just busy and will comeback. I think some of my mylot friends might have thought I quit because I was busy in my life. I have so many responsibilities to bear in my shoulders....LOL

There are many stresses in the world today, and many have busy lives trying to survive and may not have the time to play here at Mylot. I am also at several sites, but not as much as I used to be, Pay now days online is about 1/2 what it used to be, none the less, every dime counts. I am online every spare minute I am not busy or doing something else. I would love to be your friend though.
