I am sure lots of you know "honey can cure acne". It is said that if you'll leave honey on your face for twenty minutes, it'll help lessen acne. Well, i am not really certain if it's effective. Have you tried it guys? Is it really effective?

I did it before, and what I heard about putting honey on face is to make skin more hydrated. And the result is quite fair enough, maybe one have to do it intensively like every other day to see the best results. I would say it doesn't hurt anyway, why not have a try?

Honey can cure acne, but it depends on our skin type.Honey is not good for oily skin, honey is good for dry skin.Use always pure honey,if your skin type is dry.

hey, you can't just put on honey like that because it may develop some super oxide if it stays open for long, you can apply homey and its really effective but before that just warm it for 20 seconds, make it cool and then apply it.

It makes sense since honey have a good amount of vitamin A, and vitamin A does help to reduce pimples :D Egg yolk which have good amount of vitamin A also good to reduce acne. Although I haven't used honey for treatment of pimples, but I definetely can say that it will surely help, since I used egg yolk for vitamin A for reducing pimples, I can say that honey which have vitamin A too, will help :D

I've tried a honey mask on my face when pimples and acne tend to break out I known that honey has antibacterial properties so it is great for disinfecting and healing minor blemishes. It is also gentle on sensitive skin. I never tried applying honey directly into my face but I used honey mask during cold weather for moisturizing and heals some skin blemishes due to hormonal changes. Happy mylotting!

I haven't tried it but it would be great if it does work well. It's so much better to use natural means to heal the ailments we have. So many products are loaded with harsh chemicals that sometimes they aggravate what the product is suppose to be helping with. It's so crazy. Honey can be used for a lot of things.

I've tried honey and I think it could really heal acne. They said it's better you mix it with eggwhite so that the skin will absorb lots of it, but just the honey alone will make your face smoother and better just the same. I don't know if it will directly remove acne since my pimmples started disappearing only months before as it was cured by ladies' pills. I took it for at least three months and it did really work. I guess one factor that could really cure acne and pimples is to reduce oiliness of the face. It may be better not also to use soaps or facial wash that are too strong because they will dry out your skin. As for honey, I use it now too smoothen out those pimples marks that were left out. I still have a pimple breakout once in a while especially during periods but with the use of honey the pimple would fade fast.
