I have been receiving mysterious payments from ClowdCrowd

For the past few days, I have been receiving mysterious payments from ClowdCrowd direct to my paypal account. I know ClowdCrowd is connected with facebook, and if I remember correctly it is a paid to do task site. Funny thing is, I am not doing any task sites in ClowdCrowd for a long time already, so I am confused how I am getting the payments. For continuous 4 days now, I have received payments ranging from $0.05 to $0.15, small amounts but they come daily. The email address of the sender is Payments@ClowdCrowd.com from a certain "Servio, Inc." company. Anyone has some ideas where this is probably coming from? I would actually investigate more about this, but while I am investigating I want to know if some of you have the same experience, knows where this payments might be coming from, or knows something about servio, Inc. Its not that I am bothered about it, but I'm actually happy receiving payments from unknown source. But I just wanted to know exactly what I'm doing why I do receive such payments, or if there is some mistakes also know how and why?

do you have any referrals ,there? if so, then they mat be coming from your referrals, as they work ,you will get some percentage...that may probably be the reason...

That's what I first thought when I read your discussion. Your active referrals can do that work for you eventhough you are not completely doing any tasks.

It sounds like you are recieving back payments of such a small natue, they must have ben lost and now coming forwarrd, But to be safem you should be changing your paypal password incase someone else is using your account. When suspicious activity occurs at paypal, its best to change it.

Yes, I will look into that. But I think ClowdCrowd is such a trusted site because it is connected with facebook. ONe thing I have thought of now that I have not yet done is to check my ClowdCrowd account and see what's going on there. After that, I would let you guys know...

I have also not done ClowdCrowd, but will look on the net to know more about it. I also think it is good to change the password to make sure someone is not using it.

I am also not sure why you are getting paid from the site. It might be bonus for taking part in different tasks you have done before. I think it is always good to get some additional income from different sites. I think this question can be answered by someone who is active in the site.

Yes, I checked it already ajithlal...they are from my referral commissions. Anyway, I also believe in your idea of getting additional income from different sites...like "mini sites" earning you "mini incomes" but if you put them together, they add up to a good amount of income.

It might be some back dated task they owe you for tasks you have done long time ago. Have you been doing task in mturk or clixsense?

That's what I thought of at first, mervyn. In clixsense, I tried doing tasks a few weeks ago but as I remember I failed to do one task, but I thought maybe I did something that made them pay me some cash. Anyway, everything is resolved now...I see it's my commissions from referrals I got who became active doing some tasks there.

Oh, it is not much but it is so strange. You should care your paypal account carefully. I really don't believe money could fall from the sky to your account...

Thanks for the advice, ryanong. I now resolved the issue when I checked my ClowdCrowd account and saw that I already have 5 referrals there who did some tasks there...it's my referral commissions...I would have thought earlier to check on my ClowdCrowd account, but I didn't because I was never active doing task there and I registered as a member there maybe about 5 or more years ago. hmmm...it seems to me now there is some potential in the site. I will let you guys know if doing tasks there will earn extra cash. Maybe if I get lots of referrals there, I may not only be receiving daily extra $0.10 but a lot more.

Oh, really? then you can spend a little time to get more extra money in that site since your referrals are active. I am happy to you...since you received money from that site even though it is not much, but we are still happy about it, right?

It seems that they can't payout you without reason. So you can chack your account than you can find your solution.

HI BetterDays4me ! After reading your discussion I am quite interested to join this site . Just sometimes ago one of my myLot friend referred me this site . It seems quite a lucrative site and so nice of them to send you your referral earnings even when you are not active there . Do they post on the facebook page or it is only needed for registration ?

It's amazing, Sounds are good. But i think your paypal account is hacked by some one. So don't risk contact cloudcrowds admin and clarify it.

@ BetterDays4Me, I appreciate your sincerity and concern about where your earnings are coming from. I know of Cloudcrowd but could not register then because of indisposition. From what I learnt about them, they are genuine and connected with facebook. Their system, I know will work and is working as you testify of receiving payment. Surely from all indication as you have said of you inactivity, the activity of your referrals are paying you then. Kudos. Enjoy the money
