The weather isnt has warm as it has been. But my Mom and I went out there and planted the 6 different herbs I bought. Also, the catnip in a seperate pot. We are still deciding where we should plant the peppers, and the zuchini plants now. I plan either this coming week or the week after (when I get paid) to get the raised garden and plant the veggies. * In the planters are Basil, Oregano, Pasley, Dill, Rosemary, & Cilantro.

I planted all my herbs from seed this year as I found a whole bunch at my grandma's house and she said she wouldn't be using them anyways I noticed with all the rain we have been getting they are all starting to come up which is so nice can't wait till they are big enough that the rabbits can get some

I thought about it but then since Im getting a lte start just to buy the pregrown ones. Zehrs herbs looked really nice actually, and decent price. I was thinking of going back to get some more such as mint (to cook with, and make drinks with). I am planning on making a raised garden bed, then plant my veggies, but I have to wait to get paid now.

My cherry tomatoes rippened today, and are they tasty. My onions are a little on the hot side but their flavor is marvelous. My corn is already knee-high and it's not even the 4th of July. The stevia is doing better than ever this year, I need to start drying it. It has been much too hot for spinach and lettuce but I hope to put in some fall greens in a couple of month. The only thing I am missing now is cilantro. There is no greater joy than growing and harvesting your own food unless you have someone to share this special time with. Years to come will bring back pleasant memories that you and your mother shared making your garden. Enjoy these times while they last.

What do you use stevia for? I saw this today and never heard of it before. I plan on growing lettuce, spinach, carrots, and celery for sure. But need to get the raised garden yet. Hopefully, next pay period I can gather it all up. I love gardening and in the past never had the time. But Im hoping it will save me some money in the future. I remember garden as a kid and loved it, and still do.

I do hope you get some fresh herbs. I dont normally use fresh herbs but I may now since I have them. I bought these for Marco the rabbit and give him a fresher and wider variety in food.

I still need to get the topsy turvy underway, if I can find it again. I bought the stuff for it. My grandmother saved some seeds for watermelons but our yard needs a HECK of a lot of work done to it before we can do anything with it.
