ANythign "natural" that you can take/eat to help curb the appitite? I have tried a few things, but they don't work. Even eat alot of fiber for the full feeling, but it doesn't work. I am not particularly hungry, just crave eating! I try to stay busy and not think about it, but that doesn't work either! I just have the urge to eat! Anything anyone can mention to help at least cut down on the feeling to want to eat? I have tried chewing gum but that is just to hard on my teeth.. and still doesn't keep me from wanting to eat! Thanks for any suggestions!

I don't know if this works for everyone, but I find that protein keeps me full longer than anything. It doesn't take much. Just a small piece of cheese or leftover meat or an egg and I can be satisfied for several hours. Protein doesn't get stored as fat as much as sugar or simple carbohydrates do, so that helps, too.

Yes, Cheese works as a filler for a long time. Bananas are good too.

I love both and eat them all the time....but usually as part of a meal...not for snack.. guess I'll change my routine and see if it helps! Thanks!

Drink a glass of water each time you feel the urge to snack. You might find it fills you up. And stop the chewing gum. It stimulates the saliva, and that will make you hungry.

I've tried both and it doesn't help. In fact, I think that the chewing is what I am craving...not anything to eat. That is why I started the gum...but it didn't seem to help..maybe cause of the saliva issue. But I love flavored yogurts and cheetos...given the choice, I'd take the cheetos every time and I really like these yogurts! THat is why Ithink I just crave chewing!!!

Your logic is flawed. You don't need to chew yoghurt. Maybe you just need to not have those snack items in the house to help you practice some self control?!

I'm using something that I saw on Dr. Oz. My problem is that I feel better when I'm eating something. It gives me a sense of comfort. And apparently, there is a solution to that kind of problem. It's Saffron with Satiereal. It is kind of expensive, 25 to 35 dollars for a month's use. I've lose 4 pounds in the last two weeks, which is something. Prior to that I had been on the same weight for months. So I'm happy. I'll keep it up for at least another month to see if it continues to work. On my bottle is actually says for healthy eating habits and positive mental outlook.

I'm only over about 20 lbs and due to a healthy issue, I can't exercise fast enough to burn calories so watching what I eat is my only hope. Thanks for mentioning this, I like Dr Oz...Im looking it up right now!

Well, you can try having more of the fruits like Watermelon, Apple, bananas, Mangoes, Cherries. Also try having coffee and tea with biscuits. These can curb your urge to eat more and more. Also drink plenty of water from time to time.

Part of my problem with this is that I can't afford much fruit! When one apple is 50 cents each and I eat 2 a day...Cherries are nearly $5 a lb! Watermelon... 49cents a lb. I just can't afford to eat that much of it! I drink Iced Tea constantly...keeps me full, but I still am nagged to eating..not even hungry.. just being nagged and can't stop it!
