Good day to everyone. Today I have decided to post my discussion using Siri's voice activated texting. At first I thought it will never work because English is not is not my first language. It was pretty weird because I thought it'd be easier to speak what you want to say rather than typing them but to be honest I had a lot of trouble composing this post because I would lose my line of thought. Anyhow I'm just trying this one out a means I think this is a very good way of posting in mylot whenever your hands are very tired. What do you think guys? But anyway add to put the periods and? myself because technology has yet to discover these marks. So there you have it have fun try it yourself. Have a great mylot day!

Oh that's great, can Siri recognize and transform whispers to text as well? I can't talk aloud in our place or I will be seen as crazy. I still have to get my first iphone though..

Hahaha.. You'd have to talk like you're talking to someone. It's crazy really, most especially that I am not in a country that speaks English primarily. Good thing there's nobody around when I was trying Siri out, else people in my house would think I'm crazy. hahahaha..

I prefer typing what I would love to say than to use siri ot any other voice activated texting or speech recognition. Using the system requires a clear voice and enunciation of english otherwise there would be error in the words typed. There is much more improvement needed in that kind of device which I can forsee it's happening in a very short time frame for humans always discover new technologies intended to be above from the rest.

Yeah, I understand that there are still limitations, but it's just great to know that these are options that one could use and could be effective too. Have a great Mylot experience ahead!

That sounds like a good idea. Eventually, the bugs will be smoothened out and it'll be an everyday occurrence. Actually, you gave me an idea. Could you not record your answers to mylot discussions (or other things), post it to one of these podcasts sites, play it to Siri, which then activates texting and posts to mylot? Right now, that may be more time-consuming than just typing out the post, but who knows, with refinements, it has possibilities.

That might be a possibility. But it's tough to look for the topic with all the topics around. It would be good though if you're just in bed and would like to do mylot without standing up or typing. I guess Siri just needs a little tweaking in terms of understanding my words (and codes for period and stuff). But all in all, it could work. As one of the responders said, it just needs more practice. hehehehe.. I just find the feature good because there are times when I'm just to lazy to do stand up and do something. Plus, it would be a great venue for those people to practice their English. Thanks for the response! Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

I do used Siri too but in making short message cause I having a hard time too when trying to compose long messages.I guess using it more often and practice could help for us to instruct Siri to make longer messages.

Yeah, I had to compose short messages too. I guess there's a lot of things technology needs to tweak in order to have the accuracy and understanding of the human personal assistant. But it's okay all-in-all. I doubt we'd all need personal assistants anyway. :) Thanks for the response! Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

Yeah! It's actually great. However, I wish they have something like this in our local dialect. It would soon be weird for people to accept my messages in the English format. hahahaha... Anyhow, it's nice to try it, but battery suffers big time when you use Siri too much! hehehehe.. Not to mention that sometimes she doesn't get what I am saying and types a different word instead. hahahhaa.. But yeah, it's fun and cool!
