Late at night a poem!

Late at night
when the voices come out
what do they say
as you lay in bed
trying to sleep
trying to dream
do you see the future
does the past look sooner
are you close to goals
or so far away
do you lay awake
full of sadness and hate
what do you think about
late at night
This is a poem i made and i was wondering what you guys think?
I am trying to become a better writer.

I like your poem. It spoke to me, in many different ways. It speaks to me because I have insomnia and often times thoughts do keep me awake. And it spoke to me because I have often wondered what others think about as they're laying in bed falling asleep.

Thanks i am glad you like it!
I dont have insomnia but, often if i am really stressed or just have alot of my mind i have trouble sleeping because, thoughts are always running through my head.

very interesting poem. I think at night in bed about the future of my family. I hate this life we're all in so i think about the promise that God says perfect happiness and state we'll be in. I look forward to that future.

Yeah, i was thinking more like of ways to get out of the troubles we are having like, finding jobs and struggles of life, trying to follow your dreams. that sort of thing.
