Attendance in the activities on June 12, 2012 (Independence Day)

Before I went home yesterday, I received a memorandum order requiring all the employees to attend the Flag Raising Ceremony and Wreath Laying activity in the interest of the public service and in support to the nationwide celebration of the Philippine Independence Day.
I hope everyone would be able to join this nationwide celebration! Join us guys!

I suppose you work in a government agency , so you were mandated to attend that. It's actually a legal holiday, but really participating on this day's activities for our Independence Day will really be nice.

Hi SIMPLYD. Yes. I work in a government agency. That is a good suggestion. I'll bring my cam and take some pictures. I'll still have to learn how to upload pictures in myLot. I only tried uploading my profile picture. Thank you for that wonderful suggestion.

I am just so happy to know that I could have another day to rest :D I thought it is a Holiday and we are not supposed to report to work that day?

Hi paper doll! I thought of that also he he. But we received an order so we have to follow. Public interest over personal interest. The truth is that I have just finished my training which lasted for almost two months. I am also looking forward to have at least a vacation but I can not do it.

I wish I could but since it is in the weekdays then I feel like taking advantage to rest for the day since the next day would be working again. I think most non government employees will take advantage staying at home and rest for the holidays than attending to these activities nowadays.

Hi rsa! There are so many things that we can do to show our support to this occasion. We can at least have a banner hanged on our walls or windows. Be proud that we are a free nation.
