I've always been a big fan of her songwriting and her new album really shows a level of maturity she has reached in her life and music. Hopefully she'll have another album coming out soon as well!

I really miss her, she and Vanessa Carlton came in the mainstream music industry in the same year and that year is like the best year of pop music for me. Its really sad she is not as mainstreamly recognized now. the last time I heard of her is that she got married and forced to be a part of a singing duo.

Well, they're both still around and putting out albums, though. Maybe not as often as Rihanna and other mainstream artist but I, personally, don't need an artist to be mainstream to enjoy their music. And I think the quality of Vanessa's and Michelle's music is still as good as it ever was, if not better.

Its just sad that majority of people rather listen to autotuned trash, but at least we are proof that Majority is not always right. I do have all of her albums. I remember there is a point of her career where she ranted on her website and her recording company took it down.

I am not aware of Michelle Branch's music, but your synopsis has given me pause to consider giving her music a listen. Perhaps I'll end up adding her album to my collection. Thank you for the introduction.

Me too! I used to sing his song when i was a bit younger and until now i still love her songs though a lot of new artist are comin' in. Whenever my friends goes to a KTV Bar, I always choose her song coz I already memorized the beat and its lyrics that makes me score 100 everytime i sing. :-)
