I been 2 days quite not active here because I'm busy moving my furniture around the house up to the bedroom down to the living room. Maybe I got this thing to my mom. I remember when I was young my father was little annoyed with my mom when she moved most furniture in the house he always told my mom the furniture again are dancing "cha-cha" move back and fort side by side on any places. My mom like to moves furniture sometimes once a week specially around the bedroom. That's really irritated when you don't know where do you put your usual things and all of the sudden it will be move in other place. That's why my father got angry. I'm lucky that were only two here in my house and most of the time I'm the only one who is moving around the house. How many times in a year do you moved your furniture? Your take Mylotters....

Actually, I move furniture around once in a while. it is sometimes annoying when you move it around too often but sometimes, you can't help it. It can be fun too

I also think moving furniture is a very good exercise because of lifting the furniture and carrying it to other place.

I change things about 4 times a year!! Otherwise it gets boring! my mom did the same thing when I was little so I believe I got it from her also. I even change my bathroom up a few times a year. Different shower curtain, color schemes on towels, rug and curtains and so on lol

That's nice when you see something new in the house even the old furniture or things are still the same.

My take is your mother had a LOT of energy to move furniture that often..lol I move my furniture once a year during spring cleaning to clean around or behind, and only move a selective few pieces completely due to things like the TV and computer have to stay where they are since they are hooked to cable. Plus, some things just work where they are...

Our house is not that big to keep things moved from here and there -hahaha. Back in my hometown, in our parents home- I always do that. Every time we spent our vacation there, I always moved things here and there. So, every year it has a new look. I really like changing positions of furniture since I am small. In my ancestor house (my great grandmother) I do the same thing. Here in the city, I only change the setting few times rather change the furniture itself. Just recently I changed and removed tables from the living room and planning to buy a new set (maybe sooner) I like to upgrade appliances- if I have the budget :)

Hi Jai, Why not spend your millions in buying a new furniture I can help you to go shopping. Good morning and have a nice day... It's still raining here.

I do that too but not as often as your mom does. I think it's too much. It's nice to have a different look inside the house now and then but not too often. I think your mom easily gets bored and wants her house to look different each time.

I do not move furniture often enough, but I feel like moving furniture is a great way to be able to clean very thoroughly. I think men do not like to have the furniture moved or the things put away. It makes them very uneasy.

I'm also the same when I'm in the small house before I moved here. We can't even move together coz we will bump to each other.

I almost never move any furniture around inside one home. I have moved often and sometimes take furniture from an old home to a new one, although most times I just get new furniture, maybe it is "used" furniture but it is new to me. Usually I buy furniture that comes in a box and I assemble it. But once it is where it is supposed to be then usually it stays there.

It happened to me when my place is too small and the things around the house can't move. Now I have a big place and that's why I'm back to the old hobby.

I've got that bug too. My mother used to do this and then my brother and now myself. I love to move furniture around and get a diferent feel. I used to move my furniture around quite a bit and I really enjoyed it. One moment the bed may be on one side of the room, the next it's in the middle etc. It's great and a real relaxer. It's good to have things change like that as well, good therapy.

When depressed I didn't feel like doing it as much but after doing it, it lifted my mood! Plus you can find things you thought you lost or money in the cushions!

I'm not the type of person who keeps on moving stuff inside the house. It is very exhausting to do that. What? every week your mom move your furniture? Oh my!!! that is very tiring. Since I live in this house where I am now? I never move our furniture. I live here for almost 6 years now hahaha....

No. Moving the furniture is so difficult to do though we can move the furniture once in a year or if we are in mood. In my case, I am a busy person so moving a furniture is a lot of hassle though I can do that, if I am in mood

I think sometimes we have to rearrange our house especially furniture and other things. I have seen some friends moving and arranging furniture from time to time. I think it is good to move and arrange furniture once in six months. I do arrange furniture once in a while.

I think I moved our furnitures twice a month especially when I am in the mood changing position and looking for a perfect spot, to looks more wider and lighter. Moving furniture quite tiring but when I see the result was nice I am very happy and pround to myself. Before when husband arrived from work then see some changes inside the house and all his stuff moved to other places to another, he freak out and angry to me. But know he get used to it and I always informed him where did I put all his stuff. For me moving furniture or things is not only just changing position but also more on changing the ambiance inside your house and starting a new beginning.
