i have heard those 2 statements many times when it comes to a ford. well my grandma bought me a ford after my other car was messed up to bad to be fixed. it got its moneys worth it lasted about 5 years. well the past month i have not had ANY luck with my car!! i got a flat tire about 2 weeks ago after our other camping trip to Jordan Lake. well would you believe that i went to go somewhere last night with my husband and i got another flat tire on my SPARE tire. well my husband called the on call to the place that he works and his boss was on call and told him it would cost us way more for them to come out and fix it. he told him to bring it to work today but hes not working there this week his other boss called and needed his help and well i obviously cant drive it there. well he told him he can buy a plug kit at the gas station so thank god i had some extra money even tho it was for gas for my grandmas house we bought it and he plugged both tires. the original is still leaking air (it was a big hole and it took 2 plugs and it still aint working) the spare tire he also plugged and it seems to be holding the air i am just worried to drive on it. Friday when he gets home we are going to be going to buy another tire from his work and he is going to put it on. i am just not having luck. my grandma said "it could happen to anyone" but really both tires in 1 month???? lol how about your ford? or any car? you have bad luck with it? what kind of problems have you had? if not a ford and no problems what kind of car do you have? maybe when i look for another car i can find a better 1 haha even tho i guess you cant really help it if your tire goes flat.

I had a 92' Honda Accord for about 8 years and then it well needless to say fell apart. It started with the seat covers, then the doors even had to be tightened because they have fallen off. I loved that car but finally it just stopped running and I gave up on it. I went out and bought a 2009 Nissan Versa. I love it so far. I haven't had no problems and it gets great gas miles. It has a small gas tank so I probably cannot go on long road trips but I still love it. I still miss my old car after all I didn't have a car payment. Now I have a payment for the next few years yuck!. I don't think it matters on what kind of car you buy there will always be lemons or cars that just wasn't made right. My sister has a dodge and she bought it new. It is an 07' but has been in the shop more than my old Honda was. My dad had a Toyota truck a very old one and I have no idea what it was called but it lasted him 25 years and never needed any repairs other than tires, breaks, and oil change. It is the reason why if I could afford a Toyota I would buy one.

i hear that the Honda Accords are very very good cars. sounds like it if it lasted that long for you :) or that just means that you took very good care of it :) i use to have an oldsmobile and it last 5 years before it literally fell apart haha. i got my moneys worth out of it. it was a 1988 so it was just as old as me so that was even cooler and it was my 1st car ever :) i heard that nissans were also very good cars and i know 2 people that have 1 that also said they loved their car. you can do the long road trips you just might have to stop a few extra times :) my ford car gets 26 miles to the gallon as long as im on the high way lol it is a little less of course if i am driving around town with all of the stop lights. yea i am not able to afford payments right now so i am happy with the car that my grandma bought for me and it gets me from point a to point b so i am happy just aggrivated with the tires lol. i agree with you it really does depend on the car you buy and i believe it has a lot to do with the way you take care of the car. if you ignore things that need to be fixed while they are smaller problems then they sometimes turn into bigger and more expensive problems. i also had a friend who had bought a car new and was in the shop more than any of us with the used cars. wow 25 years? that is really kool :) my grandma had a toyota and she gave it to my aunt when she bought a new one and it is still driving very good. not sure how long they have had it tho....maybe that is something i will look into for my next car :) thank you for the great comment :0)
