It is sad to find that more that 75% of people working in the corporate sector do not get sufficiently enough sleep. The undue pressures imposed by the job schedules not only mar their sleeping patterns but also stand out for the chance of losing their efficiency and mental caliber. Lack of proper sleep brings in fatigue and dejection resulting in greater frustration and depressed feeling. Improper sleep also result in obesity. The quality of life and productive capacity of the individual gets disrupted due to insufficient sleep. Health problems which arise include diabetes, high blood pressure and irregular heart beats. Excessive sleep and insomnia are equally unwelcome. Sleep in its essence is a gift of God to man. It relaxes you after a day's hectic activities. It is physical peace. All of us should be sleeping well in order that our creative abilities could be aroused in full and noble thoughts filled in the minds.

It doesn't surprise me that lack of sleep would cause so many health problems, because the way I see it sleep is one of the major pillars of health. When you eat right, exercise, and sleep well, then you can ward off a whole host of health problems! Sleep is increasingly hard to get these days. I know that personally, I'm on a sleeping aid right now. I want to be able to go off of it and sleep normally, but for right now that's just what I need to get by.

Maybe there is nobody alive who has NEVER had a sleepless night, but for most of us there are things we can do to avoid sleeplessness. On the other hand, some people have to work more than one job in order to make ends meet, and that can wear a person down fast!

Yes, it is true out there in the corporate world a lot of us get so busy that there are times it is hard to get a good nights sleep. It often seems the more you got going on, the harder it is, and just finding the time and a way to relax becomes long past. I know myself there are times I go and go and go until the days I crash and just want to sleep living off of 4-6 hrs, a night. But sleep is important and can help people live longer for sure.

I know that I am probably one of those people that never gets the proper amount of sleep that I should be getting. This hasn't always been something that is true for me, but it is something that is true for me now. There are a variety of reasons that I don't get enough sleep, but the main reason that I don't think that I get enough sleep is because of the fact that I like to have a little bit of private time every day and I don't get that until everyone else in the house is asleep.

You are absolutely correct in your promotion of enough sleep. I for one know that I can determine whether my next day will be a success or failure, simply by going to bed either before 10pm or after 10pm. Even as much as one hour later, and I won't be myself the next day. Which reminds me, I think I need to go to bed right now. Goodnight folks!
