Good day myLotters! Do you guys miss your school days? When you were just care free and still isn't responsible for your own life? I miss my scholl days because it's the time when all I have to worry about is my homeworks and have to study for exams. I don't have to think on how to earn money for myself yet. before, i used to want to grow up as fast as i can so that i can go out of the control of my parents and live my own life. But now, realizing how hard it is to earn money and have a stable life, I miss those days when we would just ask them for our allowance then go to school, and then go back home, finish our homeworks and then watch TV or play in the computer. Now that you're independent, you can't do that anymore becuase you have to think of how you're going to live and think of your future. Just sharing my thoughts. Love to hear your thought on this topics also:)

No I don't miss being a student. I had horrible teachers and an even worse group of students that I was trapped with from Kindergarten to high school. I had no allowance as we had no money and we had no computer, they did not exist for home yet. I had a dysfunctional home life where basically I took care of myself and the house. I also hated being forced to learn what I did not want to. And I turned out right, 95% of it turned out to be useless. I now learn what I want to and need to. I am the exact opposite. I am now free to do what I want.

Thanks and I did not go to the best school and I am sure there are better. The problem mostly was that we had too much free time in between classes and the times where we were actually learning. School in my days was actually more like daycare. It gave too much opportunity for bullying and idle bored minds to find a way to get in trouble. When a child is tired it's very hard for them to learn, that's whey I am so against lengthening the school day. It was too long for me the way it was.

I am a student, and actually I like being a student a lot. But my student life sounds a lot different from yours. I am not carefree, and I have to earn money myself.. xD Anyway, I like learning a lot, and I will continue to study by myself long after I graduate. I generally like to study languages with my free time.

oh, that's a bit sad to hear because you need to earn your own money at a very young age... but look at the bright side, at least you learn how to be independent already:) keep it up... you can be somebody in the future. Good luck!

I miss my school days or the time in my 18s sometimes. Expecially when stress comes to me that I feel can't bear. When you were young, your life was simple, you needn't thought too much. For instance, you might not have to think about your prospect, how to earn money, how to maintain the relationship with your co-workers or friends. You can live in your way, you can do anything you want to do. But when you became a adult, you have many stress and responsibilities, you can't do something just because you want to do,you have to consider your family, your parents, your husband or wife.

I was an active student in my school like. A good debator. Always won prices on debate competitions. Well, Since I am now in working life so it is natural that I miss my good old days. Well I really like your discussion because it reminds me my old friends. Now, I am planning to meet them again and invite them in my home for a party to remember old days.

I miss it too badly that I am looking forward to getting my masters some time next year. Even when I was a student, I never wanted to be done with it just so I could do certain things. I have always liked being in school and doing all the projects and other things they make you do at school. Oh, god this just makes me nostalgic...great question though.

I have to admit that I do really miss being a student at school. I didn't like it at the time, but now that I look back I realise just how care free everything was and how little we all had to worry about in general. I have just finished my degree, and the pressure that is on us from all angles in order to succeed in life is unreal, and it is something that I am finding it difficult to cope with if I'm being honest. I liked the fact that you got to see all your friends all of the time, and I really miss telling them all about my life now that I'm just not able to see them that much anymore. We only see each other a couple of times a year now, and I will admit that I find that a little depressing because we used to see each other literally every day, and we would still have things that we could talk about.

One think that I've never forgot when being a student is when for the first time i was interest with girl. And also the punishment from the headmaster when I jump out the walls. But overall i really miss that time,my best friends,my teachers and my beautiful girl. Everyday when i walk with my son to his school, I always remember being a student. Hope someday i can meet my old friends again.

I miss my school day a lot, and the days when I was in college, I feel that's my golden period:) But I realize that those days is gone, and become the memorable times for me. Yes, yesterday is gone, and we don't see tomorrow yet. So...live in today, make the useful things, meaningful, so...maybe it will be the sweet memories in tomorrow.

I really miss being a student. When I was a student, I also have the same desire to grow up as soon as possible. I want to take the control of my life. When I get my first job, I was so excited because it meant that from then on I the owner of my life. However, after I start making my living, I found it was much harder than I thought. i really miss the good old days--being a carefree student. Anyway, we have to move ahead. Even though I complain about how hard life it is,yet I still keep working hard. C'est la vie!

My secondary days is making me cherish the privilege of ever being a student. I really miss being a student. There a lot things and fun I had when I was a student. I can be easily pardon and allowed in offences. The way of doing assignment and submitting it to your teacher to access. My parents took care of me more than now as they see me as more vulnerable. I was more explorative with less caution than now. Being a student is sometime I will always cherish and say I miss.

Good day!.. i really miss being a student also!.. Especially those high school days which you establish your bunch of friends which you have same interest and hobbies. Also there's no big responsibilities which we thought that time to our problem is the end of the world, but compare to be working thats when we realized that true cycle of life and trials begin.. That is why it's we can often realized how nice also of being a student... :)
