When do you get married?

When do you get married? is a question that i have to reply every day this time. I hate it. Whenever i meet any person in the office, they always ask that question. I am mad with it...It is very boring when i have to reply it over over many times. Some of them just asked me yesterday and today they ask me again... What's happen with them? Is it their favorite question?

When do you get married? Aren't you tired of hearing the same questions all over again and to the fact you really started discussion of it! Well, I don't know what they are thinking why they asked the question. Maybe you have the culture of at the age of something, you have to get married already, isn't it? :O Oh, well they just want to irritate you so they keep on asking the same thing... :O I wonder why you didn't ask them that, Is it their favorite question?

"when do you get married?" - is it possible to hear this when instead saying hello?
Yes, I think it is kind of annoying cause it's not usual to ask questions like that. first of all, hi and hellos are the ones first being asked and not personal questions... Really weird,isn't it?

Exactly. i hate that style but...i have to live with it since i really don't want to be rude to directly talk them that it is not their business. I think you never get in that situation, right?

hihi, i never ask anyone that question, it is not my style. I never ask private questions if they are not my closed friends also. You are right, it is the style in here, people love to ask it as if they care much about me. Sometime instead of saying hi, they ask that question, it is weird...

Well, when you get to a certain age.. many people will always ask you that.. since society thinks that there is a limiting age to get married. I don't agree with it though.. i think people should get married when they are ready to.

Or maybe your office mate are just concern because they care for you. Also maybe they thought you are already the marrying kind. Anyway, for you it's no concern of them but if you really don't want to entertain such question just tell them you have not found the right partner yet.

no, i don't think they care me at all..they just ask and ask only... next time i will reply them as what you mentioned...but honestly...that question is very boring, right?

I agree with you too. we do get married whenever we are ready for it only, don't need to care much about ages... It is very annoying with that question. I do hope you won't get that question like my case...

I too often get this question, it is really annoying when we already told them Im not planning to get married yet I need to finish my study. My 22 years old friend just gave birth a baby girl and everyone was like "when is your turn", one of the girls said "if I was you I would be ashame to stay single until now", I think it is my privacy whether I stay single or is getting married soon. I dont want to get married just because my culture said it is the right age for me to get married, I want to get married because I found my trully one.

ya, i understand your feeling well because people in here act the same. I hate it. Why they do talk much about it as if it is their business. In here, i don't want to give them strong talk back, but when i was in Korea, i talk directly to one vietnamese guy that it is my private thing, it is not his business, he shuts up and never ask me that question any more.

I don't mind if closed friends ask me that question...but people who are not closed to me often ask me, i don't like it... I hope one day they are tired with that question and never ask me anymore...

If the person who keeps asking me when I will get married is a close friend i would not snap him/her, instead I will joke and told them i would get married soon if they pay for the wedding party and the honeymoon expenses. I will repeat the same answer and they will get bored asking me the same old questions lol.

Why do it have to be anyone business when you will get married? Next time simply tell them that you are not planning to get married or just ignore whatever they will be asking.

Ya, it is not their business but they'd love to ask that question. I really don't understand why. I really don't want to be rude by talking directly: it is not your business, so that i always say, not yet, may next year...grrrr

I think telling someone that you are not planning to get married is not been rude. I think they are also rude to you when they keep on asking the same question.

Hahaha. They are really annoying. Do they really like that question? They keep on forcing and pressuring you. Ask them the same question back.

Ya, they are very annoying...i don't know ..they love to ask that question when meet a single guy. Well, i really don't want to return them that questions, right now i just ignore their question only...

When they ask you the question just say "why" give it a go put the ball in their court,just say why and change the subject.I expect this is wind up so don't take any notice and they will soon stop.
