This is one example of what shelters here do in my area. I am so angry that these animals are really GASSED! I am so sad and angry right now. Like the shot to put them down was not bad enough!!
I wish I could afford to adopt every frieken animal in that shelter to get them out of there but sadly I cannot. =(

Yeah I really hate this but... Well you can't help them all of course. We should all just help them with something and at least this would be for them helpfull. If we can't help them by adopting them than we cat just help at least with a few money maybe I think.

It is still wrong and should not be done. This should be ILLEGAL. I am so angry reading what they do to these animals. It makes me sick to my stomach! So cruel.
If I had more money I would be adopting as many as I can...

Its gross any way you look at it. These poor innocent animals are not guilty of doing anything but being born. The only answer is to get our animals fixed and be sure we aren't adding any more to the world. I think being responsible on our own ground is the way to go.

I agree they are doing nothing wrong except being brought into this world. Unfortunately, it is not only about getting our animals fixed because even if we all did that the Breeders in this world are still going to bring more animals in this world. They are only thinking about the money, not the animals well being.

This happens all the time. not all animals shelters are no kill shelters. It is sad but it does happen! I wish i could adopt an animal or animals but I can't! I could afford propaly a guines p;ig(which I have had in the past) but where I live I am not allow to have a pet.

It does happen and it makes me feel so bad for these poor animals who have done nothing wrong. =(
I just wish breeders would stop what they are doing, they are thinking of the money from it and not about the animals themselves...

Its disturbing on many, many, many levels. And I'm not a cat person but I feel disgusted by this none the same. Then again, all of those poor animals, while we want to save them sadly it is not feasible and if someone with a kind heart cannot afford to take care of them all, then it is going to be doing them a disservice. It is really bad.
I'm sure there is some kind of regulation of pets only being there a certain amount of time and I'm almost certain sadly its because of a budget concern. It always is but it doesn't make it any less deplorable. There are just times however where you just wonder what happens to half the animals. Even if a place that they swear they take care of, it's bad. And there are many who won't say this, they'll just do the deed without warning when the shelter gets too crowded.

I am not a cat person either, I love my dog but they are doing it to all animals here when the shelters get full, this was just one example of it. =(
If they would just stop breeders there would be a lot less problems. The breeders here are just don't care. They are thinking about the money and nothing else. There are TONS of breeders here! Tons of them, it is crazy. The more they breed, the more animals we get, and the more animals die.
Super sad but it will probably never be against the law to breed. Unfortunately...

I am angry to know this news also. I love cats and i really don't want to see them in that situation. Poor them!!!
My kitty is sick and i am so so worry for him ...i could not understand many people who act without feeling with cats as if they are nothing...i am so sad with it...

Yes it angers me really bad. I feel horrible for them. This should not be allowed and breeders should stop breeding!

that is actually the worst thing i have ever heard in my life.. i've never known of any animals to be gassed or anything like that.. yes put to sleep, but never gassed!

I completely agree with you! It is so cruel and it upset me so badly. I cannot believe it is legal either!
I thought they only did the injections which was bad enough! But this is just awful!!

I am so sorry Loving, I can relate because when we first moved out here over 20 years ago, this county also had a kill shelter and I hated it. Now, thanks to some sponsors who care, we have a no-kill shelter and I have them on my FB page and see daily, (except Sunday of course) the many dogs and cats that find homes. I think every county should have a no-kill, but I guess there must be enough people to help both financially and with the shelter itself in order for it to work.

I hate it. It breaks my heart. We have one no kill shelter here too but its not enough. There are still kill shelters here and it kills me.
I wish the breeders would just stop what they are doing and find another way to make money...

I can understand your feelings, friend. But I don´t see an alternative. People should sterilise their pets if they cannot have more at home. Animal shelters mean food and people to care for the animals. There are so many cages for them too. What other choice is there? I could not have a pet now that I´m ill. I don´t know if I will be able to care for it in the far future so I don´t get one. And I think that we must think about the future of our pets the same way we think about the future of our children.

That is really sad. It is really hard for me to read about things like that. I run a small non-profit pet rescue out of my home and it is hard for me to turn down any pet especially when I know they are headed to a kill shelter, but there are regulations on how many I can have at a time.
People need to realize the importance of neutering cause that is what it all comes down to. If people were more educated on the subject shelters wouldn't get so full, and so many defenseless animals wouldn't be "murdered" daily.
Also people need to realize pets aren't property and they aren't disposable.
Gas is one of the most inhumane ways for pets to die. I often pull from kill shelters but there are so many that at times I know I am not even making a dent.

It is terribly sad! I just hated seeing this. I think gassing sounds really mean and cruel. And I watched it on YouTube and it did not look nice or humane to me!
I think more and more people ARE getting their pets fixed but here is the thing. The BREEDERS will never stop what they are doing because they care more about the money than the animals!!! I think the breeders are the biggest problem here!
Yeah, that is another problem. If you cannot afford the pet or take care of them properly, don't get it!! I agree with that. There was ONE dog I had to give away but that was because she bit my daughter in the face, right under her eye. My kids come before any animal. It was still hard for me to let her go because I fell in love with the dog. Extreme situations I understand but Not Moving (I have moved 3 times now and all 3 times our dog moved with us!), No Time for pet, Can't Afford It, Blah Blah Blah...
Yeah if I had more money I swear I would adopt them all, Lol. I just cannot starve my children to do it...
