it’s a domino effect . . .

By giving my secret Facebook account to my former classmate in high school and giving her the permission to post it at our official batch FB page, the effect was like dominoes falling . In a matter of 10 minutes, my email has lots of friends' request, some of whom I don’t recognize. I have to ask my former classmate who some of them are (we are all girls, since it’s an exclusive school for girls) , and found out that it’s their married names. I try to take a look at the profile pictures but they were already different from what I have seen them before and couldn’t enlarge them yet. Nonetheless, they are so happy they finally found me!

Hello SIMPLYD It is good to be reunited with the friends on the Facebook. Are these the same of the friends from the school who are looking the fat and old, especially compared to how you look? I remember you talking about this on the other Discussion. I cannot fully comprehend just how happy they must be to have finally found you.

Yes, my friend they are those classmates of mine. Maybe when they see me in my picture profile, not as big as them, they were really curious of how and why i still look that way. Now, they want us to meet in person one of these days. But they are in a far province . Perhaps on our next reunion.

I think they were really so curious on how i look now, that's why it became a domino effect when i was posted on our high school batch page of FB.

That is how I have found and still find a lot of former classmates. Not just from high school, but junior high and elementary school's.I also have found former neighbors and co-workers,all on Facebook.I also do research on my genealogy and find relative that I know and I do not know on that site also. That is the main reason that I like facebook.

Yes, i must admit that's the best about facebook. You get reconnected with people in your past.

The same thing happened with my mom. For the first few days, she felt sad that she's got no facebook friends but once she found some of her high school friends, it seemed like she's become the belle of the facebook ball. It brought on dozens of reunions and mini reunions. She's much happier now though.

That's what really happens when people who haven't seen each other for a long time, would gather just to see how each other looks , after all those years.
