Do You Sing In The Shower?

Hello MyLotters!!
I am super excited today, because I have a lot of postive things running through my mind. I am not one that usually sings in the shower, but I caught myself doing it today, rather, my kids asked me what I was singing..haha! Of all songs it just had to be a Beatles song, as I love Elton John! He was such a wonderful human being. I actually have an art piece of him in the family room and Abbey Road hands above my fireplace in my bedroom. Anyway, I was just wondering how many of you all sing in your shower??

Well, actually, I do not ever get to sing in the shower. When I take a shower, my washing is divided into 4 phases
1 - Rinse
2 - soaping and scrubbing with a sponge
3 - Rinse
4 - shampoo

How are you alberello? You know, you should really get yourself a shower radio and start jamming out with the rest of us. Add your number 5 as Singing to the top of your lungs! ..and honestly, I wasn't trying to tease her. In fact I wasn't thinking at all, just enjoying singing....but I was careful from then on...

Hi chiyosan, you reminded me of a friend at work. She hums almost all songs, but if you ask her to sign the lyrics, she is just to shy I guess. It's so funny because she talks about recording her own songs. I guess a lot of us have our own fears..hers not being about to sing in front of a group of others. I love to sing and if I'm having fun, who really cares right? Hehe..Thanks for sharing with me!

Yes, I also do that though not often. Singing adds fun to our bathing. I don't have particular songs that I sing when I'm bathing. I sing what songs comes to my mind during the time. Well, I am happy that you have a positive mind and I'm sure that would also give a positive results in your life. God bless and enjoy!

Hello Harold_ks, I agree that singing in the shower brings joy! Many too much actually because I find myself in there much longer than as before without my radio. Yet, I dislike the commericals and changing the station with wet hands takes some skill..haha! God Bless you too hun and have a beautiful day ahead of you!

ME! haha. not just singing. i am also dancing. :) it's kinda crazy but yeah i like it. it took 30 mins for me in the shower.

Weeeeeee!!! I do!! I do it whenever I feel like it. I love singing despite the fact that my voice doesnt usually agree with the song ahaha!!! i love singing in the shower because it sounds better there than any other place inside the house ahaha!!!

Hello there peavey, It doesn't matter how well you sing, it's how much fun you have doing it right? LOL I hope my kids don't think I
am nuts, as I was belting the lyrics out and actually dancing in the shower. What has come over me today?? I have no idea, just in a wonderful mood. Have a wonderful day my friend!

Well I absolutely LOVE to sing so I do sing in the shower all the time! Lol. =) It is just my time to enjoy and relax. My husband always tells everyone I do it too. Oh well...

Hello LovingMyBabies...What an adorable name you have there! Oh, my friend, I had so much fun singing my lungs out, and I didn't care if the girl next door could hear me. Nope, I sang quite loudly! Hehe
I think it's great that you sing you heart out in the shower. Everyone needs some place to be free. Have you tried singing to your man? I bet that would be just too sweet and he would probably sing along with you! It takes a lot of motivation to get my husband to sing, but when he does, we have a wonderful time! Yet, our music interests are not quite the same..haha!

Hello, JenAC1984. I do it all the time. I am the kind of person who loves to sing, period.
It makes me feel better about the crummy days I have been having. But not all of my days are crummy.
I have had some pretty good days as well. I try to stay positive, smile, maybe whistle a little as well, to make people wonder what I am up to..

Hi Jen, when i was kids i love to sing in the bathroom. But when i grow younger, my parent restrict me to not singing in the bathroom. I came from muslim family. So right now, i am not singing in the bathroom and i feel more comfortable with it! Just concentrate on my body cleaning and sometimes i can release my tense while shower and thinking about my future :))

Ahhhh and I love listening to songs on my iphone as well. I bet you have a lot of fun jammin out to songs on yours as well. Many people don't own CD players anymore because their phones are easier to deal with I guess. Life has changed in so many ways over the past 10 years. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Danikool48, Singing in the shower does allow you to escape and pretend you are a real music artist...haha! Dream land? Maybe so for some! I love to just feel free and happy. It's another way to relieve stress for me. Thanks for sharing!

Heh, yes, I have to admit that I do sing in the shower many times. There is just something about singing right in the shower that is really just going to really give me a great deal of enjoyment. There are times where it really isn't anything of note, just random lyrics that pop in my head. I could only begin to imagine if there was someone listening in what they thought.
Still the shower is one place where I think that musical talent is not really something. There are just going to be many times where I just enjoy the moment as I get clean. It is just something to really allow me to relax and really just unwind a lot of the time. Singing in the shower that is just one of the great things. It is something that gives me enjoyment.
