Could you kill?

I watch a lot of the mystery and murder type shows. I'm shocked at what some will kill over, then go to jail for 20 + years of their lives. I could never kill someone else I may be mad or upset but never result to that. One guy on this show killed over $50. He won a gambling game and the other individual didn't have the money to pay.

Seriously and as a matter of fact, we all are capable of killing. The only reason I can think of why we have such a capability is the need for survival. Like you have to kill an animal if you want to eat meat or kill a plant to eat or use as a medicine or kill another creature about to attack you to defend yourself. If you're questioning my ability to kill another person, then the answer is yes. I can kill another person should they trigger a certain degree of anger within me where rational thoughts will disappear. Or if someone will threaten those that are important to me or if there is a need for it. I'd be lying if I said "no, I could not even hurt a fly" as I can destroy things even when I'm not even touching them. I can destroy another person just by speaking alone so long as they allow my words to affect them. Isn't that what's happening around? A person destroying another person? Sometimes their words can kill, no?

I would be absolutely able to sink a knife in your gut if it meant saving my child. I would give my own life for it. Nothing would matter except gaining the safety of my child.

I don't think I am capable of killing someone. I fear God. Yes, some people are so careless about their own lives. They no longer thinks of the consequences of their actions. They kill other people so easily. Like you said, they could take other people's lives just because of $50. Not knowing that by doing that, he is also taking his normal life to an end. This behavior may have rooted from their childhood. I have read some topics regarding this and some of them have started displaying uncommon behavior since they were little kids. There are many factors that affects child's behavior that could lead them become someone capable of doing crimes.

Everyone who is an adult, physically able to defend themselves and are in their right mind enough to know that they are being attacked can kill to save their life or their child's life. It happens sometimes where it comes between you and them. If someone is about to kill your child, I hope you will have the courage to save your child even if it takes lethal force.

not me personally but i am amazed at what the human spirit can do. have you heard about the two teenaged girls in Montreal who got charged with human trafficking? seems they lured a few 13 year olds and then whisked them away into being hookers! shocking!

I think I could kill in case a war broke out and anyone can kill someone if it's an accident but I wouldn't kill for no good reason especially not for 50€. Some people would kill for less unfortunately life has no value in some places and one never knows how low can he go to survive, or some people are just greedy and criminals. Cruel world we live in. And strange how murder is a serious crime but in war it's considered accomplishment and you can even get rewarded for killing.

I agre completely some will stoop to the ultament low and kill someone. Some dont put a price on life, and an individual. War is still murder, but you are right its viewed completely different but is very much the same thing.

I don't deny that there are some situations in which I got the desir to kill my opponent, but when I think about it, it sounds much more logical to calm down and think about how to act in such position. Add to this, 20 or 30 years of prison isn't a short while, this is your whole life, your yought, your best days. I don't know how criminals ignore that, and prefer to kill rather than living their lives free.

When I first got cable I was watching every police reality show. The higher percentage seems like it was spouses killing for partners insurance or wealth. Amazing how selfish people can be. I think reality and fiction are becoming hard to find the line between anymore.

I like Horror films which deal with revenge and I think that is the only way I would Kill someone.

hi, if i will have a chance to kill,i will never kill because i don't like to spend my 20 years life inside of jail, maybe i will make it in legal way rather than to kill,i don't know why people can kill just because of money and other matters pushing them to do it.

I have been very strongly motivated. I have had a very strong urge to kill for reasons I considered justified. But, no matter how badly I wanted to do it, no matter how much rage I had, at the final moment I couldn't go through with it. I let God deal with him in His own way.

I'm a mother. Yes I could kill and would have killed if I were in fear for my life or my daughter's life. I've never had to defend myself or my daughter with lethal force but I would have if it meant my daughter or I would be killed.

I would not kill someone for $50 or so, but if it comes to killing someone I think we all can. It all depends on the situation. I am not different from other people if it comes to that.

Strange things can happen to an individual, that may cause anyone to do that activity. The truth is; once one is alive, one has the capacity to yield to the temptation of committing this act. There are instances whereby killing someone may or may not be justified. However, since it is humanly possible for the 'conducive' condition for such an action may be present, one cannot predict whether one will actually perform the ultimate act of killing anyone, or not. For those who have already done so, or are contemplating the action of killing someone; kindly consider it seriously, as the consequences may be different from what is anticipated.!

Hi there, I'm fond of reading murder stories- the real ones. I've read a book named 'World's Worst Murders'.. That book has categorized murders into 4 categories: serial murders, Murder of Passion, War deaths, and muders for money (not sure about it).... Out of these, deaths in war didn't affect me much. However, the horrifying details of serial murders made me sick. The killers kept improvising with every new murder. It was awful.. Why do they kill? If thats your question, then there's no specific answer to that. Some of 'em plan murders, sometimes its just a murder with passion (no plans)... You'll need to do a lot more reading to know more....

I watch a lot of movies with violence and also play a lot of games where I have to kill pc characters. I wouldn't do it in real life though. It's horrible that that man took a life for a mere sum of fifty dollars. That person is someone's loved one, someone's family and to take that life away isn't fair no matter what the reason is.

I absolutely could never ever kill anyone. If I someone said kill them or I will kill you, they would have to just kill me. I am not even sure I could hurt someone if defending myself.

I think that every human could and would kill if their own life or the life of a loved one, especially their child, was in immediate danger. The human body is designed that way. Some call it an instinct for survival. Our bodies produce extra strength and adrenaline when are threatened. As for me, personally, no I wouldn't or even couldn't kill over anything other than my life being in danger. For example I couldn't kill over something money or power.

No I am not capable of such a kill , I'm amazed how people do things without care you can go to jail, leaving families, children, women, parents, friends outside and spend your life in a cell
