and it felt really good!!!
i haven't ran in a looonng, looooonnnnngggggg time so getting out early in the morning to run felt great. i'm glad to note that i'm still in great shape. my rhythm was there. my strides were good. only thing that i need to build is my cardio. ran for a whole hour. broke a sweat after the fifteenth minute but really just kept my pace the whole time. it was drizzling earlier but it didn't matter. the rain kinda made the run more fun. will run again tomorrow morning.
sort of figured out my schedule. i'll run in the mornings, 5am-ish to 6am-ish during my days-off and then run in the afternoon after my schedule during my work days. not sure if i'll run on alternate days during my work days or just take two days off and run for three straight days going into days-off (for a total of five running days). anyway, can't wait for tomorrow morning to run again. actually, can't wait for the work day to start running again in my favorite running spot.
so fellow mylotters, how do you feel about running again after a long lay-off? what challenges did you encounter and what did you do to resolve this challenges? would love to hear everyone's thoughts.
cheers and run on!!!
