On Monday of this week I had finally received my second letter from my boyfriend after not hearing from him for about a week. I was happy to get it and wasn't expecting to get another one until at least halfway through next week. Well, I came home today from work and there was a letter from him sitting on my bed :) I was filled with joy before i even opened it. In his first letter he told me he had a big question and ever since then I've bugged him and asked for hints. Well in this letter, he gave me some pretty big ones. He said that his question doesn't have to do with the army or him getting tattoos (I asked him if it was this because he knows how much I don't want him to get one) and he said it had to do with us being together forever. Then at the end, he drew little clues. One looked like a ring but it was circled so much I couldn't tell. The other was a word clue : ____ of fire (a Johnny cash song). Immediately I knew he was talking about "ring" of fire. And he said the surprise also comes with a question. So now I know it can only be a couple of things. I just hope my parents don't get mad at one of the possibilities. Reading his later made me cry because he says some of the sweetest things and I can tell how much he misses me. Whenever I read his letters, I always want to talk to him even more. Being apart and unable to talk to each other or see each other definitely opens my eyes as to how much I truly do love him. The feelings I have for him are indescribable and even though I'm still young, I know that I really do love him with all my heart. I'm hoping the mail stays this fast and I get more surprise letters like this :)

I hope he proposes :) You mentioned the Army. If you guys get married while he is still in, be prepared. Being a military wife is one of the most challenging jobs you will ever have.

Lol thank you :) I'm excited to find out what it is he has to ask and I'll be sure to let everyone here know. I definitely know the challenges of being a military wife would be like. Right now, being an army girlfriend is pretty tough. But as hard as it is, he's worth it all.

That is great that you got a letter from your boyfriend and I really hope that he is proposing. It is a romantic. I remember when Randy proposed to me. He worked at a country radio station and had asked one of his friend's to help him out. Randy had written two letters that he wanted read over the air along with two songs. The first letter said that he has been dating a wonderful woman for a year and a half and wanted to ask his the woman he loves an important question. The song "I Can Love You Like That" by John Michael Montgomery. The second letter was only supoosed to be read if I said yes and of course I did say yes. The song that was played was "When I Said I Do" by Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black. Randy had taken me to the Shoshone Falls (the place where Evil Kavieval was supposed to make his jump) in the middle of Winter (on February 14th) to propose. I wish you the best of luck and hope that he is proposing to you.

Wow, that's a really memorable proposal :) I'm not sure what my boyfriend has up his sleeve lol. I really don't think he had time to get anything before he left so I don't even know if he has a ring. I'm excited to see him and his question makes me even more anxious to see him
