Flows of emotions through Facebook status

This past few days, I have been reading status which are so disturbing. There is a lady whose been rejected by her boyfriend and screams her pain thru facebook status and it really disturbs and irritating as well. I actually hate to see people making unuseful posts on facebook. They may have the freedom to post whatever they want to but maturity would tell you to handle problems properly and keeping several posts will never help.

Some facebook posts are so informative. But at the same time some really just waste of time. I don't understand why so many people are just promoting these kind of actions .

There are useful posts like guide to riding a bike safely, handsignal guides, traffic manuals and I find it useful to see posts of my co-club members about the accident they have met. I learn a lesson away from the accident theyve into.

I have seen a lot of things like this, and I think that one of the problems is that people forget the number of people who can see the things that they're writing. Another thing is that they might want some attention because they're going through a hard time, but they might not know how to get that attention without writing things like that. If it bothers you, then you should not have these people added as a friend, as you will most likely find that they're very draining to you and this can grow old very quickly so you might be better off not getting their updates at all.

Absolutely correct. I am a person with sympathy when people share with me the hardest time in their life. Just dont like to view posts and it really affect my day. I have deleted many of them actually.

I guess those people simply want attention. i feel sorry for them but if they are always posting sad notes or their problems..I unfriend them.

Maybe I`m too old for Facebook. But I will not accept to be friends with people I barely know. And I prefer to call my friends to tell them of my feelings. It`s a shame to have my emotions be read by whoever gets in there.

hellow marguicha, I think facebook is for everyone. I have alots of friends who are aged. Making friends with other people even across countries is good. I even had a friend in Canada named Lynn Prevett. We started to be friends when I played with her thru a facebook application "farm town" and ops she got a very good farm huh.. I call her mom because she is more than 60 years old and she threats as her son. She would always ask about how my life goes and asks about my girlfriend ( I shared a problem with her through IM but not on facebook status ).

I have met nice people here and I`m friends with some of them (real friends). But this is a process, not something that happens in a day. At least for me. So I would not tell my inner thought urbi et orbi. But that`s me, of course.

I agree with you. I am also quite curious why they are doing this. Why they have to tell it to the people in Facebook. I don't do this ever since. I've observed that a lot of my friends are doing this.
