Help! Strawberries Overload!

Hello lovely mylotters!
My family recently went strawberry-picking and, as expected, we picked way more than needed.
Now I'm stuck with buckets of strawberries and I'm quickly running out of ideas as to what I can do with them.
Any suggestions would be most helpful!
Do you go fruit-picking? What are some other fruits that are great to go picking for? Its really fun :)

How about anateawberry short cake? I love that!
I haven't picked strawberries. But I picked raspberries when I was younger. It was fun!

How about making Strawberry jam and selling it? People love homemade jams, don't they? Or Make strawberry ice-creams. Make strawberry cream and use it for icing on biscuits and cakes. Make a strawberry cake and put strawberry pieces in them. Strawberry milkshakes? But they would get boring after 1-2 days. I expect you will get sick of strawberries before long.
I love strawberries and all things strawberries. But they are really expensive in India and I have only had them 2-3 times in my life. Enjoy your strawberry festival!

No, not really. Our farmers grow fruits and sell them. Maybe if we really wanted to do it, we could go to some farm where they grow fruits and pick them ourselves, and then pay the farmer. Otherwise, I know when I was little, I used to accompany my dad to the blood bank where he used to go to donate blood. The blood bank was far on a lonely road surrounded by berry trees and me and my dad used to stop and pick some on our way back. There were lots of thorns along with the berries, but great times with dad.

Have you tried making smoothies with other fruits? Strawberry + Banana goes very well together. You can also try making a fruit salad, which is just a compilation of multiple fruits.. (including strawberries), make it into a type of icing for later when you are baking a cake, or maybe putting it into a pie!

I made a huge bowl of fruit salad the other day thanks to your suggestion!
Such a great idea because it makes such a healthy snack. I find myself reaching for the fruit salad instead of a bag of chips now :)

Perhaps you could share the strawberries with your neighbors?
Also, the birds of the air love the strawberries.
I hav enjoyed fruit picking with my children, especially the blackberry (not the mobile telephone) picking on the farm.

I have not gone blackberry picking before.
Do you ever bake any goodies with them or include them in any recipes?

I always intended to add them to some recipes, but the boys always managed to eat them all up before I got around to it. The only thing I ever managed was to sprinkle them in salad, but that was just for the heck of it. The boys loved it!
