I have recently started having chicken as in my in laws family everybody consumes non-veg.I was convinced by my hubby to give it a try and its been a year that was after my life.Though it is no sin as many people eat meat but thinking of this shift i sometimes feel guilty of myself, don't know how to overcome this. How many of you think being vegetarian is a better way of living?

My mom is a vegetarian too. When we are still a little kid we don't eat meat and poultry even fish. But as we grew up we've learn that having meat and poultry or fish in our daily foods gives us a well balance diet. Too much of meat will gain you fats of course. So just being careful of the calorie intake from meats will keep you healthy. You said you feel guilty, why? Is it against your religion?

In the past I was a vegetarian, and today I eat meat sometimes. Most of the food that I eat today is still vegetarian food. When I cook my own food I prefer to cook vegetatian food, but there aren't other vegetarians in my family and I eat meat when I visit my family or my husband's family. I beame a vegetarian because I didn't want to eat animals, and it was a little hard for me to eat meat again, but today I don't think much about it. I eat vegetarian food in my own home and meat when I visit my family. I don't think that I will ever eat lots of meat, but it is okay for me to eat meat every once in while like I do at that moment.

humans have evolved to eat meat, theres nothing to feel guilty about. Chech your teeth, canines for ripping meat. Plus meat provides much ingredients that are hard to come by in non-meat foods. And above all, it really tastes nice. I really like meat.
