I've read in one article that says women are better leaders than men, according to studies made. Women are better in taking initiatives and driving for results. And men outscored women significantly on only one management competence in this survey – the ability to develop a strategic perspective.

It is not about gender. It is on what each individual value the most. A leader who value him/herself more will definitely have a negative impact on his/her leadership.

This is just over generalization on their part. There is no rule that ground women nor men to be leading better over each other. All these depends on the position they are taking and leading and situations. All those studies are just trying to piece together things that are happening and make a seemingly valid conclusion. In the end, you will find that there is no such thing as comparison between genders just comparison between individuals.
