I would...would you?

I would gladly...give up ONE, two or maybe 3 "myLot" payouts...and donate it gladly to myLot, if they would guarantee the money would help to keep this wonderful site up and running, without a hitch or glitch...just think, if a mere portion of us, 100 to 200 thousand did the same..maybe even a new Server, and an assistant for GAA? I truly do feel isolated, lonely and disconnected..miss my dear cyber friends incessantly..on the days the system is glitched! I stress and fret, and wished I would have shared more personal info, with those I never want to lose touch with! I'll sign them over to you, myLot...will you?

Not knowing what the problem really is it is difficult to categorically offer to donate our myLot earnings. If only myLot told us what is ailing them that would certainly help us start a dialogue in the right direction.

I too love this forum;but as mysdianait has pointed out I would not do such a thing; strangely the thought of this site closing down never entered my calculations; I just took it as a system glitch which would get rectified. It has happened twice within a week now and perhaps you do have cause for concern.

kalav, dearheart...Everytime I try to log on and can't or post and can't...my heart skips a beat, my stomach does a flip-flop...as I ask myself; "is this the end?" I get emotional, just me...but I understand losing my riches, if I have made a bad deal...but losing them because of some-one else's gives me sad thoughts! I have received your lovely PM, and get back to you..very soon, as I am now heading for an appointment!

Gee whiz...it took a scary discussion...to bring all my favourite friends out of the woodwork! Missed you lots, here too...and this is what made me think of this..a bail-out! I really would do it...as there are so many here, I am in touch with weekly, whom I care about, and do not have personal info...so if the site went down..I would lose them, and I think I would feel empty! HUGZ & LUV!

Dearest Pergie, I was all for it when I read your post, but then, thinking about it, I discovered that I was not looking at the whole picture. I already posted most of this as a comment to Diana`s answer, but for me this is important. I have been very worried about my lot (mylot) in these days, so I lost perspective. I work every day a little while at freerice.com because I`m aware that there are 2 billion undernourished people in the world. Freerice is about each of us donating a bit of our time each day so that people can eat. If we all do it, rice will be donated to hungry people. The WFP also works in other levels and sometimes I donate $5 which means a lot in poverty stricken countries. Now, after reminding myself of this, would I donate to mylot? And in spite of all that mylot is to me, I say no. We can take care of ourselves, mylot can take care of its finances. A little over than 2 years ago, we had a very big earthquake in my country, a lot bigger than Haiti`s. But I still thought that Haiti needed help a lot more than we did because we have more means than they did and do. It was then, and now, a problem of perspective. I love mylot: let`s hope nothing bad happens to our favorite site. I`m addicted to it: it`s my favorite site and I have great friends here. Yet there are still people dying of hunger in the world. THere are still people with no homes. There are billions who wouldn`t know what a computer or internet is: they are worried about keeping alive. I don`t know how many of us work and play here. Let`s imagine how much it would be if each of us gave one of our cents once a day for them. I rest my case.

Dearest marguicha, I TRULY understand..everything you have to say regarding Charity..and causes! I, too, do my daily responsibility with Freerice each morning as my coffee is perking. I, like many others, am NOT rich..but myLot keeps me very rich in international friends! MyLot as pays me, like an employee! My province (B.C.) and basically the rest of Canada, has kept it's financial head above water....kept millions employeed by "employees investing in their workplace!" Many GNP (gross national product)..like lumber, mining, fishing...stumbled, too...now with employees investing, and having a say so...the country is rolling along..with NO huge financial blights, like many other countries now! I concur...I too, would be happy to give up my fun money (some of it) to a Charity where I could see GOOD being done...and NO salaried CEO's eating it all up with administrative costs..my biggest bug-bear!

My country is also reasonable well as economics go. But I shiver at the difference of earnings between the very rich and the very poor. Fortunatly, our climate is blessed. Temperature is mild so it´s not easy to die of too much heat or too much cold. I can throw some seeds in the garden and they come out (in fact, every year I have to "clean" the young apricot trees that have come out from the seeds that I throw away while eating apricots from the tree). Mylot has also made me rich in international friends, you among the very best ones (I should send you a couple of goodies to your mail as you do to mine). I have learned a lot here in the best possible way. But still, if my stingyness lets me donate (sometimes it does), I have other priorities. Besides the WFO, the only other place I donate is a fundation for children with cancer. I lost a grandson years ago and that´s my most important charity. A hug for you. Now I´m going to make a post with a picture of a salad I made for my birthday

OH, boy...have I missed and wondered about you...LM! My special "little bro" astray in the outback of Australia! YOU and your lovely family have been on my mind of much, lately. Dearheart...you didn't send me a friend request, so I have been scouring the pages looking for your writing style..AND HERE YOU ARE...HURRAH, you have made my day! And I meant with all my heart...if there was something I could DO to keep this site running more efficiently..albeit it money...I would be there! No, I don't start posts often...more to do with time constraints...after I have responded to my valuable friends here..it's usually off to work....BUT I am hoping that you will start a discussion about your BIG move and new lifestyle! WE ALL truly MISS YOU!

In that case, count me in BIG SIS and if ever- I could reach there add mine share too. But I am not sure how long would it take! For the time being I am trying to reach to 200 posts so I that could use these yellow things known emoticons. I am missing these 'cause I can't display my emotions (hugs, hugs- hugs) But I am an advantage you know I can use more than three per post. (hugs and regards)

hi pergammano your thoughts are great but truthfully I have no extra money to give to anyone as I have just 128 dollars left over out of my social security and ssi checks that the greedy owners take first each month to take out the monthly rent and food costs over one thousand dollars a month. so pocket money is 128 and out of that I pay cable net bill of 41 collars each month and phone AT and T for 8 dollars plus my copay on my meds so I usually have ten dollars or less left at end of each month. I wish I could afford to give up a payment to mylot to assure it keeps on really perking for us but I cannot do it financially.I do think with all the backers mylot has that she is not going broke financially at all. but hope she can soon' repair all thats currently wrong with mylot.so while I think your idea is great, I cannot join as I run o ut of money before month ends.[

Ms. Hatley, I so truly do understand financial confinements...but thankfully I am still able to work, and have more than my share of employment...seems even tho' I am in a position to collect all my pensions..there will be a day and time, that I will have to, and then really mind my financial P's and Q's....Please understand, it was a shot in the dark, as I sorry worry when the glitches hit, that I had lost...all YOU friends, that really put HUGE rainbows in everyone of my day's! I have sent you several friend requests...but to no avail, and I do not wishe to lose your contact...hoping someday you will accept, and I will then be able to share personal info.!

I wouldn't mind to give up a couple of payouts if it meant staying in touch with my dear friends here. I have missed you a ton. I have not been able to be here but I have the next two weeks off from work so you all may be seeing more of me than you want My daughter is getting induced Sunday night....hasn't the time flown? It seems just yesterday I was announcing her pregnancy. Has it been 9 months? wow.

My "rainbow" girl...has re-appeared! You'll NEVER know how much...YOU were missed here..NO Jen..NO party! I truly did read your last discussion...and therefore, a HUGE congrats is in order..what an achievement...is CEO the next step?? Are you settling into the NEW job...or is it still a little time consuming? WELL, "meme" tomorrow is Sunday...What a HUGE day you have in store for you! ONE more sleep...and you will receive a NEW Gift of a life..for a lifetime! What a HAPPY day this must be for you! I must admit, I have a little undercurrent of jealousy...as I don't think that day will ever come for me! BUT, being induced brings back "warm and cozy" memories for me (that's how T.J. came into the world.) YES...sometimes 9 months is forever, but this time it just flew...AS I was remembering the e-mail from you (seems like yesterday)with the news! And the warning; "seeing more of me that you want"...will go unheeded! THAT will never be a thought that would cross my mind...AND "meme" I think you will be a little more busy than you anticipate..with a NEW LITTLE ANGEL! MUCH LUV..and HUGZ to you and family!

For you, pergammano, OK, I would! Ah, but I know there is never a guarantee for a glitch free site +. . . there are oopsies everywhere - even with companies who are financially stable. My friend has a job to test out various programs for glitches - it seems to be a never ending task! Oh, but surely there is a guarantee that good friends are thought of when cyberspace goes haywire! Being online is my window to the world for sure . . . and even though there's always email or Facebook, myLot has become a special hangout with special friends. Without myLot, there's definitely a void in my day (and night) . . . yes, as if I were cut off from my special world!! Where art thou, fellow peeps like pergammano, hope all are doing well!! Makes me appreciate the days we ARE here with a hitch or glitch!!

I am on FB...so tomorrow morning will PM you with name and e-mail addie! RozAnn...my dear friend below, has been my forever myLot friend, but she is like "Lamby" changes disguises often...but I filter her out! LOL! Take care, princess..hope days are sleek and glossy!

Really, is she like crazy "Lamby" . . . oh my gosh, just don't tell me she IS Lamby - ha ha!!! You take care too . . . PM me whenevers!!! Always good to hear from you!

I agree i would donate money to keep a great site like mylot running full speed. Making sure that a site is up and running at all times is very important. Downtime can hurt not only the site but all the users and viewers.

Correct on every count! I am not so worried about the dollars, but I cannot put a price on the valuable friendships and connections that I have made here in this myLot world! Many, many companies in my country have what we refer to as; Employee Bailouts and it has been very successful at keeping our country in financial viability! Welcome to myLot..and I hope your time here is as rewarding as mine has been!

That's very nice of you dear pergammano I probably would had I been earning in myLot. For several months now I was able to reach my payout because of work. When I thought I was banned from myLot during those days, I also wished I have myLot friends on my YM so that I can just buzz them and start asking what's happening on myLot.

Although I'm *very* new to mylot I can already see why you're saying this, mylot is a fantastic concept and has an amazing community but the interface is hardly *ahem* incredible. I would galdly donate a payout to mylot b(but not my next one, there's a few thing I need on ebay ;))

WELL..first, let me start with a great BIG hearty WELCOME to myLot...and this incredible international community! There was a day, a few years back when I was in your place, and filled with a bit of trepidation! In the ensuing years, I have made some very spectacular, valuable friends..that are almost part of everyday here in the cyber world...AND due to the mindset I have thinking this is as reliable as "home fires"...I have just been lazy about making other lines of communications with these dear friends...and I would be devasted if this site fell...and never got back up! Enoy your time here..agnesc...and Welcome!
