Is it possible for a person to be happy even if he's not satisfied?

Someone asked me if I'm happy with my life..and my answer was YES. But when she asked me are you satisfied with your life...my answer is NO, because I still want to do a lot of things but some are impossible. Now, am I really happy? Or am making myself believe that I'm happy? Is it really possible for a person to be happy without being satisfied?

In my opinion, it is really possible for one to be happy but not satisfied. Perhaps I can make it clear to you by illustrating it. For instance, a badminton beginner would have felt happy when he defeated another beginner. But he may not be satisfied as he may have set his aim at having able to perform smash or beat a better opponent. There is a difference between the two and that they are clearly not the same thing. Anyhow, the word sense of satisfy does somehow connote a sense of happiness. Yet it is not exactly happiness as we speak. I hope you are satisfied with my view. Not happy with it.

Yes, it's so possible. I, too am happy but not satisfied with my life. Maybe because I still have so many dreams to fulfill. Life is beautiful. Happiness is actually a choice. Being satisfied too. But sometimes, we tend not to get satisfied because it does not meet our expectations in life. Well, I don't know if I'm making a good point here. That's only based from what I have believed on since then. Have a nice day ahead.

I think happiness and satisfaction go side by side, although I think you can be happy but not satisfied, but that happiness will not go on for too long. IMo, satisfaction is the reason for long happiness, if not forever, that's just my opinion.
