Do you have many different hobbies, or do you have one hobby that you like to spend most of your free time on? Have you had the same hobbies for many years or do you get new hobbies relatively often? Which hobby would you like to spend more time on? I have many hobbies. I am very interested in travelling and other countries and cultures. I love short or long roadtrips with my friends. I have many hobbies related to creative activites like arts and crafts for instance painting, drawing, decoupage, papercuts and cards. I love reading and writing. I like sport specially badminton, swimming and running. I love music. I listen to many different kinds of music and I play the keyboard. I like to spend time online and I use my computer a lot. I don't have enough time for all of my hobbies, but it is always easy for me to find something to spend my time on. When I get less busy with work I would like to spend more time on arts and crafts.

I think having alot of different hobbies is a good thing. I enjoy travel, music, mountain biking and writing. I think that writing is my biggest and has even become a lucrative past time. I am writing articles and making pretty good money at it. My daughter is the artistic one. She is into beading, crocheting, knitting and such as that.

I don't travel either. I hope to some day. I have in the past just can't right now. I don't believe I have seen any photmanicpulations. Sounds interesting. Good to hear you are doing so well with them.

It is great that writing has become a source of income for you. It is always nice when we are able to earn money from the things that we enjoy. I have done the same thing with my art. In the beginning it was just a hobby or something that I did because I enjoyed it. Today I sell my paintings and my photomanipulations. I am very happy about that, but I never imagined that in the beginning. I share your interest in travel and music. Travelling and other countries are some of my biggest passions. When I don't travel I always dream about the places that I am going to visit next time

I see that lots of our hobbies match. I love reading so much that I can read all day, everyday, back-to-back. I can live on reading. I also love writing. I have not written anything serious yet though. I love drawing and painting. I am quite good in drawing and have won some local competitions, as well as I am always picked for the decoration committee at any events in my college. I have never taken training for it, but because I had an interest in drawing since my childhood, I have gotten good by practicing. I also like public speaking, up to an extent, I have done anchoring at some college events and I liked doing that, being up there, having people listening to me. I like listening to music, usually loud or loud in my headphones. But not too loud, just enough that I can get lost in it. I have a varied taste in music. I like playing musical instruments, and I have learnt to play the guitar and the keyboard. I wish to learn the piano [but my fingers appear a bit small, I might have to slide around on the bench to accomplish playing it], and a violin. Various other instruments attract me too. I like dancing a lot, and I am good at it naturally, but having no professional training, I cannot say about dancing styles. The normal dancing on movie songs, and in a disco, I love. I love singing, and my music teacher told me I should work on it professionally, but I never had enough confidence for that, but my friends like to hear me, that seems enough. I like doing photography, taking candid snaps of people, scenes around me, natural scenes, animals and birds, etc. I think that is all, but I do love doing a lot of stuff. Out of them all, reading is what I do most. The rest comes when I get a chance to do it.

Yes, it sounds like we have a lot in common. I got interested in reading when I was about 11 or 12 years ago, and since that time it has been one of my favourite hobbies. I can read for hours, and I read many different kinds of books. I read both short stories, novels and non-fiction, and I always borrow lots of books at the library. Which kinds of books do you read? Like you I draw without any training. I simply experiment on my own and practice on my own. I also paint without training. I started about 8 years ago, and since that time I have developed my own techniques. When I paint or draw I tend to forget everything around me and I can continue for many, many hours. I have played the piano when I was younger. Today I don't have a piano and I haven't played for several years. I play the keyboard instead, and I enjoy that a lot. I have played the keyboard in a band in the past. Today I just play in my home. I have a guitar, but I haven't learned to play yet, that is one of my projects in the future. I also have a dream about playing the violin. Maybe I will do it one day, but I want to learn the guitar first.

Okay we have much more in common than even I thought. I like to read fiction only, short stories, anything. I do not like non-fiction much, but I like true stories, or stories based on true stories. I did not go too much into my musical instruments, but I wish I had, and would definitely do so, if I get the chance again. Guitar, specially, I have yet to get to the chords. I miss playing, but I have forgotten because I gave up.

My top hobby is and always will be traveling to different countries in the world. I like to visit attractive looking cities, palm fringed beaches, see native wildlife and meet other cultures. I adore reading books, mainly travel books and novels. I am keen on writing stories. I love walking and swimming. I am keen on collecting costume dolls from around the world, postcards from my trips, colorful crystals and miniature house models. I like listening to music and having a dance. I am keen on jacuzzi experiences, spas and whirl pools. I like learning a foreign language.

We share the same hobby, but I think that you already know that Travelling has been my hobby ever since I was a teenager and I don't think that it is ever going to change. Other hobbies come and go, but travelling will always be my passion. I have already planned the next 4 trips, but it will take me a while to save up the money to each trip. Travel books are interesting, I love to read books about other countries and cultures and I love to read books about other travelers and the places that they have visited. I like foreign languages, too and I find it exciting to learn a new language. At the moment I am trying to learn the local languages in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam (just the basic words and expressions) That makes travelling a lot easier.

I believe that there are different things which can bring really a good time for the person and those things are included in their hobbies. A person have different hobbies at different time. In my early ages i was having stamp collection as my hobby and i had activitely participated to get various stamps from different regions. Now i have something different, surfing and gardening are my hobbies and for the past six years i enjoy both of them.

I also had a stamp collection when I was younger. I had many different stamps from my own country and from other countries, and I enjoyed looking for new stamps. I had many penpals from other countries and I got stamps from other parts of the world that way. Gardening is a new hobby for me. In the past I lived in apartments without a garden, but today I have my own garden with lots of different flowers. I plan on making vegetable garden as well.

My goodness, reading about your and others hobbies here inspire me to get a hobby myself. I'm not sure what my hobby is; I don't play any sport but I do enjoy watching my sons playing soccer and basketball and I do follow the different soccer tournaments and the NBA. I don't know how to sing or perform, but I do enjoy watching different singing competitions or performances. I don't mind reading, but lately I've found myself reading from the internet and myLot most of the time. Really, I must find something to do that I can call it as my hobby, cooking perhaps.

I also like to watch singing competitions. I wouldn't participate myself and I am not a great singer , but I like to watch other people's performances. Reading is another thing that I really enjoy. I read offline as well as online. Yes, in the responses people have shared many things about their hobbies and I think it is interesting and inspiring to read about the things that other people enjoy. Maybe some of things will inspire you to find and help you develop your own hobby

We have many hobbies in common. I love reading, I read books, newspapers, magazines and things online. I am interested in many different topics, and it is easy for me to find something that I want to read for instance information about other countries and cultures, historical things or books about psychology. What kind of Japanese music do you listen to? My Japanese friend introduced to me some of the her favourite Japanese bands and singers and sometimes I listen to their songs on Youtube. My favourite sport is badminton. I used to run every day, but today I prefer badminton. My husband and I play badminton once a week. I play the keyboard and I want to learn to play the guitar in the future. I already have a guitar, but I haven't learned to play yet.

I like hidden object games, time management games, strategy games etc. I don't have time to play as much as I want, but I think that games are a nice way to relax for a while when I need a break from my other online activities. hi porcospino. i got a ton of hobbies and it covers a wide array of interest. i'm a sports fan and i place bets on sporting events so that keeps me busy. i try to cap games as well and make profit making sports wager. as for actual sports that i play... i play basketball, soccer, bowling, and i run for exercise. i also dabbled in writing poetry and short stories before. that went on for a good three or four years. then it just fizzled out. i also like to read books and magazines. not a really big fan of movies or tv series but i have a couple that i would spend time watching either online or in dvd. was also interested in photography before but the hobby was too expensive for my taste. lol! i really want to spend my time more wisely so most of the free time i have i want to spend on an earning activity. if one hobby of mine can be income-generating, i'd definitely devote more time to it.

I like running, too. I used to run every day, but I haven't done that for a while. Today badminton has become my favourite sport. You also mentioned bowling. I haven't tried that for a long time either, it could be fun to go bowling again. I love both reading and writing. I haven't written poetry recently, but I hope to get started again. That is one of my goals for the future. Yes, an income generating hobby would be the best of all I would love to find new hobbies that I can enjoy and earn from at the same time.

Travelling is my biggest passion, and I don't think that I will ever get tired of exploring a new place Reading and writing are also among the activities that I enjoy. I have a big pile of books that I want to read, but unfortunately I don't have much time to spend on reading at the moment. I love art and I often visit art galleries. I hope to get my own art gallery one day. At the momeent I only have an online art gallery and I would like to have a physical gallery that people can visit.

I agree with that. I think that art is a great way to relax. I can spend hours on my art. When I work on my art time passes so fast, I don't even realize that I have have to forgotten to eat or sleep Right now I am busy with work and I haven't been able to spend as much time on my art as I want, but I hope that the situation will be different in September and that I will get more free time when I am less busy with work. Hobbies can give you also of joy if you find something that you really enjoy, I hope that you will also find some hobbies that you enjoy

Yes I have many different hobbies like cooking, dress making, knitting, reading, travelling, and planting. Even when I was young I love cooking and planting are my hobbies since I lived in the country side. But when I started to go to high school I learned how to make dress and knitting which I spend a lot of time to do some different designs and cuts. Now I still making dress and knitting that I sell to my relatives and friends abroad. I love reading when I am alone here at house while lying on bed. Before I dont like travelling because it makes me tired but when I got married my husband loves it and I found it very interesting. I used to play tennis, but I haven't played for many years. I sometimes I think about starting again. At moment I stick to badminton, that has become one of my favourite sports. Right now the badminton season in my club is over, and I can't wait to get started again.
