Charice Cried in Xfactor

I don't know what happened last night but some how our very own Charice pempengco cried when a contestant started singing my way. i thought at first she cried because the man's voice was touching but was not accepted by the majority of the judge, I was wrong,
Charice's
dad was once a good man, but after he got into drugs or flriting other women, He threw them out of the house and never the same ever since. though he hated his dad first because of his condition, probably ashamed of even approaching her.
Her Dad died because of a confrontration. The suspect had been arrested but she has been mourned still. and proved that she still loves her dad. but to be honest, the guy looked nothing like her dad. i think this old contestant got her nerves a bit that she became emotional.

Jsae29, I strongly agree with you there because it's not the singers fault if they get to sing her father's favorite song. but I do remember watching Jennifer Lopez getting a nervous break down after rejecting a singer who's wife has brain damage. not to mention, after that man was rejected, he sworns he'd never sing again. she almost quit the whole show. have a nice day.

I totally agree. All the time she was acting up I was shouting "Hey! the show is not about you!!!" I guess I was more silly than her because I got so affected by just a movie show. but I think she overreacted. not only with the crying episode but also with her comment to the other contestant, even going up the stage just to say that she votes yes for the lady... some people I know stopped watching the show because of that.

Yeah it trigerred her the memory of his dad. She remembered that it was hid dad's favorite song so she got carried away with it. It even stopped the show momentarily because of that emotional scene. But after a while they returned back again to continue the show. I guess in showbiz it has to continue and set aside those emotional outbursts.

Hello Rsa101, I hope she doesn't get carried away again, because it might confuse the singer. i don't know what was the reaction of the old man. I bet he thought he sounded awful. they should have put it in their media news, but probably it did and i just didn't see it. because the show happened last sunday but the actual event was way back march wow. I saw it and I think the singer did understand why Charice was crying at that moment. He did apologized and Charice said that it was not his fault. I think memories of her father is still very fresh from him and could not control her emotions on that one.

there are songs that could make us remember our departed loved ones. charice could feel something like that when one contestant have sung the song, my way. she must have remembered her father whom she lost early this year. it must a very emotional moment for her. it shows that she has not yet moved on since that loss.

Hello Mensab, Yes she did and probably some people mentioned that the singer looked like her dad for some reason. Well, that proves it that she hasn't move on yet. maybe producers should refrain people from singing this song so that it won't affect charice. or simply tell charice to control her emotions in the show. She had said that My Way is the favorite song of his father. Maybe she had remembered how her father use to sing that song while they were still one family. And I guess the contestant having almost the same age as his father, Charice could not help but remembered the happy days with her father. The contestant also admitted that even though he is much older than most of the contestant, he is happy to be given the chance to show his talent to the world. Charice was not only touched by the song but also by the way the contestant rendered it.

she said that is her dad's favorite song. This may sound crazy but I want Charice to menthor the over 30's category. With her connection with that guy, I think it will be interesting to see her look after him. Another reason she can help the older singers to be current and relatable to the younger audience. at first I question her and Demion what if they end up mentoring the old singers but it make sense to me now. A younger singer can help an older singer to be current and not stuck on their era.

Madonna is still selling records despite of being old,I guess because she evolves her self. Then Susan boyle sales well cos despite her age, her voice is very current. Thats what the old category needs to figure out.

You can only have one biological father in life and her loss is simply unimaginable even though he has had his imperfections. There is always a song that reminds you of someone significant to our lives and regardless of time. Charice only proved that she's a common girl despite from the fact that she's famous.

Hello Gracielou85, It's hard that he ended up this way, but i do recall them offered an apartment to the in laws and her dad. I think she has been a common and ordinary girl despite of how she is lately. but i don't think she should have react that way in the competition. probably should have been off-cam. Have a Nice day.

Strong emotions such as mourning for the loss is hard to control mate. :)
