what do u think of people who beat their wives?

i think they are cowards.

Those type of mens are mentally sick and cant tolerate thier wife talking opposite to their own word.Its pity that most of the men dont understand the meaning of marriage,and they see towards their wife as only a mean to satisfy their physical needs.Wish i could do something against it.

I think everyone would agree that a MAN shouldn't beat their wife! Why marry the girl if your going to treat her bad? If I was the woman getting beat I would get out of the relationship because It could only get worst...especially if they have children...It's even worst for a man to beat his wife in front of their kids!

People who beat their wives probably grew up around that kind of abuse, they probably have very low self esteem and no respect for others, obviously they are ill tempered as well.

they are mentally disturbed, and they maybe had a hard childhood themselves.:(

i think it is totally unacceptable to beat your wife and if someone does they need locking up

That's the meanest thing any human can do to their fellow human. I think we should try to get along.

I think wife beateras are cowards and insecure people.But there is a clear cut negative association between the standard of living index and the proportion justifying wife-beating, it is really surprising to observe that instead of strongly opposing it, women almost justify it.the wife's visit outside home without the husband's permission, disrespect for in-laws, lack of care in cooking food, besides not being faithful to the husband are the main resons men beat their wives.

I think they are sick. I can´t stand people taht bit their wives or their kids too. Just don´t like them and don´t understand them at all. Those wives should leave those sick guys!

I made a topic about this yesterday....and I am a victim of domestic violence from my previous marriage. I've posted in my topic but he was 6'2" and I am 5'1". He was way bigger than me and he hurted me by physically and mentally.I had a hard time understanding English it because I came from different country but he was like USA doesn't want anybody who doesn't like to speak English etc... I was beating by mentally every single day.He said I am such a worthless woman or I don't deserve to live or ugly etc...you name it. I've got divorced and now am with this new guy who is totally against violence(especially to women or kids who has less power than other) and am going to get remarried in next year. I believe that no one should be treated like me.

i think they havn't got a d**k in their pants... how could you hit a woman?...it is ilogical
